If you didn't change the section length before you brought in a file, you can still fix it - I just set the section to an absurd number of bars, then drag the right end of the audio region until it stops.
Of course, if you do this and it ends up looping after you extend the section length, you'll need to eliminate the loop first before you can drag it back to full length.
Also, when importing midi you can change it from the grand piano to auv3 plug-ins by tapping the instrument button an going to external then choosing your plugin of choice.
My garage band is not on my share option what do i do?

I sent the audio file to myself via email and then saved it to files and then clicked my ipad then garageband and you will see garageband file transfer

Hi Patrick, can you import Bandcamp songs into Garageband for iPads. I want to use some jam tracks that on that site but read some remarks that it won’t work and I don’t want to spend the money if I can’t do it. Thanks Randy
Well, I just wasted my time downloading GB because it’s clearly crap. If I can’t open a whole song all at once it’s completely useless to me, unless someone knows a better way. This whole thing of doing it my phone seems like shit anyway.

I am really struggling and would really appreciate your help. Trying to bring a paid song from iTunes on my iPhone into this horrid app 😂to have as a ringtone since ringtone is not available for sale. (I wish it were. I would gladly pay $2 to avoid the headache of this app.) Followed your directions and couldn’t even get through the drummer section. You don’t explain how to create the first track before you talk about deleting the drummer region and then move so fast on the screen that I couldn’t follow. Have everything you said written down, but can’t do anything with my notes as most of what’s in the app doesn’t say what each icon is for or how to get out of the screen. I’m literally willing to PAY someone to make me a ringtone of Waterboys “Whole of the Moon.” This app needs a tutorial. Tried their table of contents but it’s useless. I get locked in screens and can’t figure out how to get out of them & have to exit out of the app. (I had to watch a separate video just to figure out how to exit out of the app because they can’t even make that easy.) then I’m stuck in the old screen when I open up and can’t figure out how to get back to the drummer section to start all over. HATE this app!🤬 if I purchased a song off of iTunes, does that mean it will be copyrighted and I won’t be allowed to make it a ringtone? The only reason I downloaded the app was because Apple said, if a song isn’t available as a ringtone, you can make one with one of your purchased songs, but if it won’t allow you to do that, then there’s no reason for me to bother with the app. Thanks for letting me know. Sorry, just super frustrated.
