Definitely a great idea for the old stamp sets. Apparently they fixed the problem for the New Year (2019). I'm not a SU demo so I keep the retired stamp so I'll need this trick for sure. TFS Nicole (Canada)

Wonderful hacks here! The hand sanitizer I never thought about...was using plain alcohol to clean my blocks and as we all know, it isn't pleasant to smell! As always tks for the great ideas!
thanks for this new option. I am using aleenes tack it over and over. it is sticky and stays on the stamps. your lip balm idea would allow for the stamp back to be cleaned. look forward to trying it

This is a great idea. And I love the way you put your stickers on your clear mount stamps. That's very helpful to me, thanks. What about using a repositionable glue stick?
Yes I did you repositionable glue stick but found that the lip balm work much better

May I ask what is the difference between hand sanitizer and soap? I am from Germany and do not know what you mean by hand sanitizer. love the Tip!
Hand sanitize is a alcohol base product that you can use to kill "germ" but not 100% efficient they have that at may public place

Good tip! StampinUP blocks have no grid lines? Why not as it makes it easier to line stamps straight on the block? Thanks France
Deborah Anne they use to have grid stickers you could put on your clear blocks but they retired them
have you tried stamping with versa Mark ink with this technique? That is the one that always makes my stamps fall off unless I keep the sticker off.

Do you have to use beeswax? I have 3 lip balms from my dentist office, so would like to try it! But not sure what's in it, was wondering if it was the beeswax?
