The Florida Highway Patrol discuss deadly bus crash in Marion County

- Eight people died, and another 40 were injured in a Tuesday morning bus crash in Marion County, Florida. The Marion County Sheriff's Office said they were called to the scene of the bus crash at 6:37 a.m. The crash shut down west Highway 40 from Southwest 180th Avenue to Southwest 40th Avenue in Marion County.
Does it REALLY matter if they were documented or not, it wouldn't make it less of a tragedy. The Sheriff did a great job shutting down that type of nonsense.
Expect that kind of "compassionate" question from a "concerned Christian" citizen.
Their legal status doesn't matter regarding this MVA and investigation (as long as the drivers are legal, documented drivers). In general...their legal, documented status does matter.

He wasn’t just drunk. He has been arrested at least 8 times since 2005, many times for DWSL. He evidently lived his life however he wanted to. That changed today.

Six months to investigate that deadly crash is the rule for our authorities to spend when a second and third class individuals are involved in incidents of this nature. No insurance coverage= no ambulance chaser lawyers.

@sharanlinzy7897 "Hard working" and "Migrant workers" don't equal undocumented status. Migrant farm workers feed the entire United States documented or not. Florida farmers are having difficulties finding workers due to the governor's policy regarding the undocumented. Many migrant workers are refusing work in Florida out of fear of harassment and targeted deportation. The farmers also face consequences for hiring undocumented workers.

@@sharanlinzy7897 The pick up driver is in the hospital. How could they not know what his blood alcohol level is. The report says he was arrested for DUI.
