100 rated chess, but actually you don’t play chess and instead get yourself a well-deserved nap.
The video shows him timing out.
5:13 OMG, new unexpected thing just dropped. Gotta add that to the list
Actual surprise
I'm glad to know there are other people who were as excited about that as I was
bro is literally so bored with chess he fell asleep mid game
Melatonin move.
I am China lol
“It happened again”… you’ve fallen asleep during a game more than once?
i think he's referring to how the kings were next to each other
@@kayyayeareI think that was the joke
He was referring to the Kings touching each other, that happened in a different video a few days ago
He was reffering he leid to us to dont tell us he lose too quick
7:20 broke me. I was all on "....because you can follow up with KnF6.... but then what?!" for like 10 minutes.
"naw the bishop actually hanged lol"
dude is such a troll sometimes 😂😂
me: easy enough to trap/lead the queen if she takes
simp: it was a blunder
It doesn't even work bc white has duck-f6 stopping the first step of that
i paused for a whole 3 minutes trying to find something
Why do I feel like he'll start falling asleep more often 💀
Fr. New "unexpected things" just dropped. 😆
Simp admitting both a loss and a blunder in the same video? What kind of bizaaro world are we living in?
0:24 the 象棋 jamp scare
New info: Simp is right-handed.
wasn't that confirmed with that challenge where he played with his left hand?
I'm left handed
@@uhhhhhhidkkkkskamskskYes it was
oh, i missed that. when did he say that?
@@asdfghyter he said "my right hand moved faster than i could process" or something along those lines
When the king suddenly appeared on your side as you skipped to move ~50, I was confused for a moment by how it got there until I realized that was a lot of skipped moves.
bruhhh if you fall asleep at online classes or work zooms, sure. But not on a chess game DAMN
Simp falling asleep at midnight would be tragic, if it weren't for the fact he introduced the video with "Good Afternoon", and each game is 10 minutes maximum.
6:40 I gotta say, I looked around for just about everything. Nf6 or f5 to trap the queen? No, he has duckf6 stopping both. Qa5 to flank the king? No, nothing there. Pawn break in the middle to open lines? But that's not worh giving up a bishop. In the end I said "f it, I have no clue, I'm just gonna say it was bc it's a blunder and you're trolling". *And I started laughing when you said that it absolutely was.* 😂
We are so easily entertained, Simp can literally create this content in his sleep
Chess Naps, my new favourite channel.
Simp actually lost the third game but doesn't want us to know
He did admit the loss though?
dude the fact you fell asleep mid recording is just one of those things that I want to learn about you
Being able to move your king into check changes the stalemate dynamic.
In Drawback Chess, if it was possible to capture the king en passant, clicking the piece that can capture will make the king “appear” on a square so that it’s possible to capture it.
Missed opportunity to see if it works in Duck Chess
chess sleep
10:59 “Free thumbnail materials” is killing me
I’m pretty sure the king capture en passant rule is exclusive to drawback chess
Duck Chess doesn't have this rule, but probably should. It makes sense for pretty much any "capture the king to win" variant
When I first discovered this channel I thought this dude was an amateur but now I see he’s a god and just chooses to limit his power.
Don't play while you're super tired
It'd be kinda funny to mention the elo change. "3 wins and 1 losses, +5.3 rating points"
4:03 coward
Capturing a king with a king is so meme worthy lmao.
Not to be pendantic, but 象棋 (xiang qi) can refer to either Chinese or international chess depending on the context. To specify you'd have to say 中国象棋 (Chinese chess) or 国际象棋 (international chess).
That's "Zhong guo xiang qi" for china chess and I can't read that second one
@@Hack--rz1io 国际 is guoji, and it means international.
Just call it Cờ Tướng since Simp is a Vietnamese.
Yes and no. You have to have a very strong context to use "象棋" to represent international chess. Without context “象棋” always means Chinese chess. This is similar to how “chess” is never thought to refer to shogi without a strong context.
@@user-vt9bp2ei1w I know. I can be more specific if you'd like though
Absolute chad move replaying the "Unexpected happened" game.
Not clickbait Thumbnail, nice^^
The frist opponent disconneted to play DuckXiangqi
9:53 It seems that you’ve gotten your 100-rated arc
New lore dropped: Simp sometimes falls asleep! This is going in my logbook.
I did figure out the tactic.
Didn't blunder queen, no testesteron
10:12 would Knight to e2 be worth playing? Looks like a strong attack on the king, followed by either more attacks or trading the knight for a queen (or king if he doesnt use the duck to block)
Who falls asleep during a chess game??
Simp
You cannot en passant the king in duck chess. I tried to by accident once, because I got the games confused.
7:20 You also said you woke up and made coffee before playing game 4
Smh 1 move blunder whilst wide awake
7:15
nice bluffunder
2:11 u can definitely give a check and then u put the duck anywhere so your black bishop has discover attack to opponent queen

4:16 Nf6 duck h6, Kh8 is forced Qh7. Checkmate in 2. You're only supposed to look for better checkmate, when you have checkmate in 1.
6:39 Testosterone. The answer is Testosterone.
4:00 Did he miss checkmate in 2? Nxe7+ Kh8 Ng6#
No. He can take the Knight and block the Bishop with the duck.
@@Bruder_Tom oh, ok. Thanks. Didn't see that
4:04 knight f6 double check wins the queen
Take the knight, block the check with the duck. I don't see how that's not just blundering the knight?
Tlaloc is correct, it looks like an awesome double check but it's actually a blunder in duck chess
I contest your math.
And before you say anything, I am also part Asian.
The automatic subtitles... On 1:18 it misheard the word ‘pawn’ pretty badly.
At 4:00 isn't Kxe7++ duck on f7 a stronger continuation? You get a forced Kh8 duck on g6 or mate
I've never played duck chess but if his queen came out to attack the bishop couldn't you nF6 and duckF3 to attack the queen and block his retreat? The knight isn't threatened by the queen and is protected by the pawn so after he makes a choice you either get to decline a queen trade or get a free pawn. Let me know if I'm wrong I guess.
4:23 am I tripping or is knight captures bishop on E7 super checkmate
I’m looking at 4:28 and isn’t Nxe7+ just forced king capture? Both the knight and the bishop put the king in check, the king has no squares to move to, there is no way to deal with both the knight and bishop in one turn, and you don’t even need to use the duck to do it.
Like I’m even looking at something like queen takes knight, blocks the bishop with duck, but then you move your queen to g7+ and block their queen with the duck and now you take the king.
Ok I’ve started looking even deeper and there wasn’t really a way to see this in the game but I think there moves were extremely limited if there’s even a way to escape having there king captured.
Or they could move the king to h8 block both the bishop and queen with the duck but then you have Nxg6+, and if they don’t move their king either your knight takes the king, or if they take the knight your dark bishop or queen will take the king and they can’t stop both with duck, and if they do move the king and block your white bishop you can once again just bring your queen forwards to g7 and block their queen and win.
Lastly they could try moving their king to f7 and blocking your light bishop but then queen g7+, they can only go king e6 and block the bishop or e8 and try to block you from them so if either of these have a forced capture you could just block the other one with the duck. So if e6 blocking your bishop, Qf6 blocking their rook, Kd6 is forced blocking your queen, but then Be5, you have both a queen and bishop pointed at the king so you don’t need to block their rook anymore, there only move would be c7 but if you block that with the duck then every square they can move to is attacked in at least one method they can’t prevent.
Just to quickly go over them, if they stay where they are both the queen and bishop see them so there’s no way to take out both of them. Kc6 is seen by the knight which can’t be blocked, Kd5 is touching tips with your light bishop so easy capture no block, Ke5 taking your bishop is touching your queen so unblock able, Ke6 is touching your queen so unblockable, Ke7 taking your knight is touching your queen so unblockable. Meaning all the way back at Ke6 or Ke8 if you block Ke8 you have forced capture, meaning even earlier as soon as that first Nxe7 you had forced capture through a very long series of moves (it’s m7 or m8 though I guess capture instead of mate)
God that took all my brain power to calculate, I’m not even entirely sure I didn’t miss something, but I also now realize that all of this was done without taking into consideration using the duck on that first Nxe7 move, I could have simplified that so easily just by saying duck on f7, it also reduced it to m4. God that would have taken so much less concentration on where each piece is.
3:09 isn't that a free queen after bishop b5 duck to c6? It's a pin with an unprotected piece but you block the only way they can take/block you.
Black can move the queen away and place the duck where the queen was, dealing with both threats.
Sicilian Duckfense
3:09 bishop b5, duck c6
the duck has to be moved by black, revealing either the queen or the king for the bishop to take
yay or nay?
I think black can move the queen to safety then put the duck where the queen was

Good afternoon
No fucking way...
at 3:09, would Bb5 duck on c6 be any good?
0:19 Fact: that was not your first chinese opponent, I saw a video with aanother chinese opponent
3:10 you missed Bb5 duck on c6, that wins a woman (unless I am dumb and I didn't know a duck can replace a square a piece just moved from)
5:26 bro, this ain't homework for you
nice last game though
what is the word @ 2:01? "i need tokeep b3 available for a potential future what?."
Fianchetto. Putting the bishop on that square in front of the horsey is very strong because 100 rated players often lose track of it hiding in a corner like that and then it strikes from a distance.
Unfortunately, I'm speaking from experience 😢
@@Eljay_Kay So it's basically a sniper tactic.
It's fianchetto (from italian) google it :p
8:42 what's simp curious about?
