I think Calvin's timing and doubling with the foot pedal and snare paradidling is the key to understanding how he performed that amazing funky lick from 1:24 to 1:36. Very talented gospel drummer
Love watching Calvin play, he always finds ways to keep in time and to me he is the best MD our there for Fred Hammond at the time. I also like how he was ablw to look behind him and still keep the song flowing and the band grooving.
