"We" should have ONLY funding Israel (if, at all), on the condition that Israel COMPLIED WITH INTERNATIONAL LAW. That would have REQUIRED Israel to end it's occupation of Gaza, West Bank and end the illegal settlements. There SHOULD have already been a SOVEREIGN PALESTINIAN STATE. As an occupied territory, Gaza is legally ENTITLED to funding from the UN. If anyone didn't want that: THEY SHOULD HAVE VOTED FOR A BETTER GOVERNMENT, IN ISRAEL. Ending the occupation would have meant that the UN no longer needed to fund Gazan people.
Why does anyone actually think that Hamas was founded?? Hamas was founded because Gazans DON'T WANT to be occupied by Israel.
Israel receives billions more from the US, than Occupied Palestine Territories and has zionist lobby groups in every US State. The US had barely even counted occupied Gazans as people, let alone thought about how the billions were being used by Israel to oppress those people. This disaster is, as Queen Rania stated: MAN made.
The only silver lining to that truth, is that it is also huMANly resolvable (aside from the more than a million people harmed by Israeli Occupying Forces, who call themselves the "IDF". Those people must be remembered (if they have died), PROPERLY cared for, if they are alive and held in the hearts of living people.
