Hi , I'm from Sri Lanka I'm 16 years old I'm planning to take my GED exams and get a full financial aid at Harvard university for a PhD. My family's annual income is around $6000, seeing the income range in the description really scared me because we don't earn that much even in 10 years. I want to change my life and make my parents proud. I hope free VISA is available with scholarship. It will be very hard for my parents to afford even a flight ticked I'm planning to survive basic need with a part time job or something. I just really want to learn in USA and become a highly qualified Doctor.

Hi l want to know if dropping an Advanced level subject will not have a bad effect on my transcript like being labelled weak or something like that. Am asking because l once heard so from someone that it's not advisable to drop a subject, but l wanna drop one out of 5 so that l can also focus on my extra curriculars to be an all rounded student

Why "Family income" is a factor? Any student should be able to take a student loan, so the annual income of "Family" should not be a factor at all for the financial aid.
