I'm all out with Tesla. But who knows... Maybe they will surprise us all. Currently, to me, it does not look like it.

NIO stock is terrible, The company is awesome & because it's awesome & it's Chinese means that they are working extra hard to keep it as low as possible..

I think NIO should be at around 8-10$. For Tesla I think the current value is a bit overvalued and slightly hyped. But if their AI ideas fail and the model Y sales decline plus the tenths of billions investments they have to do in order to keep in the game I see lots of pressuring factors for TSLA. Future will tell...

BYD had issued in Thailand. The customers complained that they bought a car and a year later, BYD cutting down the price so much. When they wanted to sell the buy back back its price dropped crazy .

@@TheOddInvestor that's true and even confirmed by manufacturers like Ford themselves. Although... Teslas fleet is becoming old now. The small faceliftings won't last forever. I really hope they will come up with something solid in August. At least one more model plus not just the usual big talks but actual production. The Cybertruck was a real waste. Instead of that stupid and very cheaply poor-quality truck they should have built a model 3 hatchback for the EU (and other) markets. This would have been cheap and easy. Lots of people I know do not buy a tesla because the Model 3 does not have a proper trunk, the Model S is too big and the Y they don't like because of the SUV optics. Also Tesla must build more affordable cars. And they should stop lying all the time to people. Cybertruck was massively oversold and underdelivered. The Model 3 Performance also. The new roadster might never come. The Tesla Semi is very doubtful to be a success because they cannot provide enough battery capacity for long distance travel amongst other issues. Tesla is only successful at the moment because of the Model Y sales in China, which are currently falling because of competition from, well, NIO ;) I think that Tesla will make it. But hard times are coming up for Tesla now as well. I think the stock will be hyped until August and then the shorts will pressure it down to like 100 - 120 dollars.This will move billions of capital from retail investors again to the top. The robotaxi idea is a dumb idea. Not just from the technical side. It has many flaws. It's not yet the time for it. Maybe in 15 years or so. The whole AI thing is also not at the level required to make it work reliably. In the end, there will be 1000 Indians in a datacenter remote-controlling the cars and they will call this "AI". Like Amazon did lately... the whole AI hype - in my opinion - is massively oversold and the bubble is doomed to burst when reality kicks in. Nowadays AI is not really AI. I studied that 20 years ago and it was called "Neural Networks" (deep learning). It's an old computer technology. The only difference is that with the internet and the computing power today, those networks could have been trained in a new manner. But they are not smart. They are only predictive. And if you understand how they work you will recognize, that it will be a very long way for a computer to be able to fully self-drive in all conditions. Especially for Teslas which only use cameras, driving fully autonomously is a very big challenge. My Tesla already fails in rain and completly drops out as soon as it starts snowing. The FSD videos we see are almost all in good weather conditions and on roads for which the system was explicitly trained for. But if you search for FSD fail videos you will see how bad the system actually still is. And humanoid robots is the most dumbest thing to build right now in my opinion. Very expensive and complex to build, difficult to power and barely any benefit. It is just a lot cheaper to build highly specific robots for certain workflows than generalistic robots that should be able to do "human work". Which they won't be able to in a long time. Why? Well, because AI is not AI. Those computers have 0 understanding of the world around. They only understand pre-trained scenarious. That's why most humanoid robot presentations are pure fake - including the ones from Tesla. Thus I think, the stock is currently heavily hyped/pushed and as soon as reality kicks in, the same people earning a lot of money now by hyping it, will earn a lot of money again when they short it. But let's see... I hope I am going to be proven wrong. I hope it for all the investors but especially for Tesla. I own 4 Teslas with free supercharging. I hope the company will make it ;)

True. When EV prices decline, customers lose too much on used vehicle sales. Similar to Hertz
