And, wow, the underwater camera work. First, cameras have improved so much in their ability to focus over such wide distances so instantly, and that water was so clear it was like it wasn't there.

Scotland has the best water coming down off the hills, first thing I did when I went up home, was have a glass of water. The water here Essex/Suffolk is awful ugh!!

Still, at least I now have something to look forward to on Sunday- I'm sure I can't be the only one to have missed you, Sunday past. And I'm sure it'll be worth the wait. I just wish CZcams would mark such videos more clearly for the sake of old gits who forgot to bring their specs through from the other room.

Story of my life, and I was wearing my specs! I thought, “Oh, good! An adventure with my guy Si!” Then I saw the bit about a 16 hour wait!! Dang it! I’m going to have to wait until tomorrow! I’m going to be happier tomorrow! 🤨

It might seem a small thing that you remembered that we call a stream a burn in Scotland but, having been one of I'm sure several to help you out with that in the comments of a previous Scottish gold hunt video, it made me happy. If even the sassenachs who come up here to pilfer our gold can learn and take on board our language then there has to be hope... Haste ye back!

My Dad wood have been proud of you with your backwoods engineering. I saw him whittle a piece of wood to fit a hole in the radiator of his dodge sedan. It held til he traded it in several years later. We call it hillbilly God it. Great vid So! Love your adventures!

I went to Dahlonega Georgia and panned for gold with my hubby on a weekend trip. It was fun! There were gemstones as well as the gold. I got some very large garnets and the gold. The one garnet is the size of a Chestnut. Uncut but with the flashlight you can see the beautiful burgundy. I all so got some topaz and sapphire rough.
I absolutely love Sean! The both of u work so well together! Keep up the awesome work gentlemen! ❤

My Grandad used to always say to us "away Doon (down) the burn (stream) and find some gold." We always laughed at him, maybe he knew what we didn't!! It made me feel homesick watching you go up 'home' to Scotland, not been back for six years, when my Mum passed away. Where I used to live in Scotland, there was a place called the silver mines on the Ochil Hills. We used to go searching up there. Great video as always

We have places here in Alaska known for gold panning, even now long after the rush. But many places are owned in claims that go back generations.
