All the way to starting the Eco Monument. Should I continue this game file and complete everything there is to do, I will make a follow-up, but this should be sufficient to get anyone started in the fun game that is Anno 2070.

If would be fun if you did some Anno 2070 with Deep ocean games, but without skipping parts ofc ;)
Glad it helped! Yeah, they've changed some things in patches, but hopefully most of it still applies. This confused me in game, you usually do *not* have both factions and have to pick one! The way to that you used to unlock the other faction was to get Executives. Your first Executive gives you the opportunity to buy the other Faction, just like you buy Techs. Hopefully that's accurate, I haven't played this in awhile!

Hehe, I buy a lot of stuff to accelerate the game. And it's your lucky day! I did continue it! Kinda. The Anno Finale videos are this same map, but finished!

I never did any building on camera, but you can see my massive Algae island in the finale (which is the same map as this, just finished completely) video in the second part of the Finale videos at about 18:45. Hope that helps!

Would you say it's a good idea for a newer player to store blocks in their Ark, until they can build a game up to get more valuable research. I mean, as an easy start for medium difficulty levels?
i just got anno 2070 on steam sale, i have been watching your videos, great stuff, i am learning alot. afew of the tricks do not seem to work anymore, but still, great. i have one question tho, how do i get both factions? it makes me choose just one when i make a endless game. thankyou

At 25:35 how did you tell the sub to drop off the materials as it arrives? Can't figure it out, and I can't find it anywhere online.
Thank you! Unfortunately, I honestly don't remember! I think it was a hotkey I queued up while holding Shift down.
I found it! For the sake of posterity it's hotkey "L" to unload cargo and yes it queues and you can even queue further destinations after. This will streamline so much micro!
