    Let me know what you think about this affordable electric car? Would you replace your daily with one? Does it make you consider giving up gasoline?

    Check your settings. Were you in 'Chill' mode? That restricts the car to a more gentle acceleration curve.

      I drove the car in all the modes, the launches were still a bit laggy off the line in the sportiest setting

    I own a rwd m3 and absolutely love it (in Australia), habe had it for 3.5 months and some 10,000 km. I'll clear a fre things up for anyone who want some information (hopefully)
    Charging: I mostly charge my car ar home overnight while I'm asleep and sometimes while I'm shopping (if there's a vacant charger)
    Software updates: I either schedule them overnight, or once i get home from work.
    Interactions: As most of the interactions with the car r theu the touch screen it may like a distraction while driving to look at the screen to do interact with the car, yes I agree, but u will get used to it (just like any car interactions can b a distraction), and there's voice commands. If wanted to turn off climate u can just say turn climate off and it'll turn off. Theres a whole range of voice commands u can use like calling someone, setting climate temperature, fan speed, heated seets and wheel etx

    Does it feel quicker on Highway than let’s say a base bmw 330i?

    • @seizethespeed
      @seizethespeed  Před rokem +1

      The Tesla dies out on the highway so I fell like the BMW would definitely be faster on the highway, same thing off the line, only time Tesla would be faster i think would be a 40 roll

    isn't it strange that europe's model 3 rwd has a longer range than in usa/canada etc? here in sweden wltp is 305 miles on the rwd version

    • @seizethespeed
      @seizethespeed  Před rokem +3

      Wow that’s weird i didn’t know they have a different range. I wonder if they have the same battery pack/ powertrain as the US models

      Same car. Range is tested different in different regions.

  • @LegitAjit
    @LegitAjit Před rokem +1

    Nice, although tbh i have seen so many on the road that it's a bit boring. When battery technology gets better to where things like weather or if you're towing or not doesn't affect range drastically and it gets easier to maintain i might dip my toe into the electric car market.

    • @seizethespeed
      @seizethespeed  Před rokem +3

      Thanks for watching! I agree tbh there’s still a sense of anxiety with driving this car longer distances. Also long term reliability is questionable. It’ll be interesting when these issues are fixed tho!

      @@seizethespeed well we shall see how things go in the next decade considering all manufacturers have to be making electric vehicles for the European market.

      You do understand that weather and towing, affects range with gas vehicles..... right? And depending on conditions, sometimes drastically.... right? And stop it with the "I might dip my toe in the market stuff".

    Why do yall keep spreading this lie about getting the car in the 30s? You can't. The tax credit doesn't have to do anything with the price of the car as for now. In the future maybe but not now

    • @iceman62509
      @iceman62509 Před rokem +2

      Doesnt apply to vehicle price. However with a purchase of the vehicle, you can receive up to 7500 back when filing taxes. I cant get that with buying a hyrbrid or a gas vehicle. So its an incentive that comes with the vehicle

    • @DMDBSJD
      @DMDBSJD Před rokem +1

      @@iceman62509 Actually, you don't have to wait until you file your taxes. You can reduce your quarterly estimated payments or submit a revised W-4 to your employer and have your federal income tax withholdings reduced to account for the credit that will be given when you file your return. More $$$ now, less refund later.
