Evening Rush Hour for the goat kids!

- Every night while the mama goats have their grain, all the babies run like crazy. I think they probably know it’s a little dangerous to get in a hungry mothers way, so they entertain themselves while they are free of any supervision by running back-and-forth and hopping on everything they can. It is always such a joyful time of the day. Here is just a little bit of the fun! New babies will begin arriving in about a week, and we can’t wait to see them, but for now we are enjoying the 32 who have already arrived. They are between 1 1/2 and 3 1/2 weeks old now.

Watching the little darlins on the platform and hearing the sound of their little hooves, Michael Flatley from Lord of the Dance came to mind. 😂
Running just for pure enjoyment! No clock to follow, no scheduled meeting, not trying to run off calories or prevent health issues. Running with a free spirit in total abandon. Last time I did that, I was a "kid" too.

This reminds me of growing up on the hobby farm. Nubian Goats were part of the mix, and every year our two does would have twins or triplets. They were more fun to play with than puppies.
