FREE CANCER CLINIC LAUNCHES AT PUTUONUO HOSPITAL KHM

Celebrating the National Cancer survival Day on June 1 at Putuonuo Hospital, Kohima launches a Free Cancer clinic with the support from Rev Moa Longchari Cancer Foundation (RMLCF) and Dr. K & T Keditsu Foundation at the Hospital conference hall.With the main aim is to diagnose early cancer which is curable the free cancer clinic was launched. Head of oncologist, Dr. Keduovinuo Keditsu informed that around 250 - 300 patients can be given free service with the donated amount by the two foundations which includes one time free consultation and free screening for mouth (Oral) cancer, breasts cancer and cervical cancer every Thursday on prior appointment. The event was attended by invitees among the cancer survivors from different districts of the state. Among them were the oldest attendee, a 93 years old woman from Mokokchung and a 7 years old boy as the youngest survivor.
