It’s employing and/or keeping employed someone at the same time, to play devil’s advocate. There is time, effort and sweat equity that goes into pulling an event like this off. I will say, from my perspective - it’s a bit frivolous, but I would not outright say it’s a waste of money. That’s just ridiculous.
Setting hundreds of millions of dollars or perfectly fine consumer goods on fire is a waste of money. This. This is frivolous.
