I have the same tractor i got a few months ago and noticed that when mowing up slight inclines that the tractor rpm pull down even when not mowing very tall grass. That being said, i was mowing in low with hydrostatic as fast as it will go. Rpm around 3000 and dropped down to around 2500 when going up slight incline. Seems to me this should not loss power. Have u noticed this when mowing.

If you start up the incline with the hydro pedal pressed all the way it is essentially in the highest ratio of the trans, if you let off it and press again it essentially shifts down giving you more power to the wheels, this is common with hydrostatic transmissions, Brock over at Rockhill Farm did a great video on this subject

Have you used the tractor to mow on hot days to know how well the cooling system controls the engine temps?

I haven’t really got to mow in the hot weather yet but I have used it quite a bit in high temps like the backhoe for several hours when it was 90 and it done fine.

My bad I meant to put that at the beginning of the video it was this past fall in October

Yeah, I thought is was a bit too leafed out for early March.
This was good to hear that a belly mower got some love compared to zero turn. So many CZcamsrs rail on tractor mowers for shortcomings (speed, mostly) yet there are times and places for each.

@@gckshea yeah and they will be a lot more coming as the grass starts comin in and I have to start mowing the horse pastures, and really putting the hill mowing and rougher areas to the test, I have quite a bit of steep pastures that I had to mow with the tractor and bush hog before which tore up as much as it mowed and now I think I will be able to mow it and keep it nice and green
