I'm too lazy to write all of those things that were made. All of that caused an explosion of socialism in Japan, in 1946 soviet border service caught around 250 Japanese people running in USSR through the border because they wanted equal salary and better life during those times. In 1947 there was repatriation and many of the people didn't want back in Japan: that made relationships worse, but cold war machine was about to start. USSR became a lot worse after reforms of Khrushchev and Kosygin that made planned soviet economy monopolistic government capitalism instead.
The Soviets lied, they had a treaty and they broke it. One that breaks their words don't live long. You can see how the position of the Emperor still exists but that of the Commissar of the USSR no longer does.
