  • Gudrun Himmler was born on the 8th of August 1929 in Munich then part of the Weimar Republic, which was the name given to the German government from 1918 - 1933.
Gudrun was the only biological child of Heinrich Himmler and his wife Margarete, though her parents later adopted a son. When growing up Gudrun was called "Püppi" by her parents, which in German means little doll.
Heinrich Himmler adored his daughter and had her regularly flown to his offices in Berlin from Munich. When she was at home, he telephoned her most days and wrote to her every week, and she accompanied her father on some official duties.

@WorldHistoryVideos this is a difficult choice because while yes she was a national Socialist,an anti semite, and all around a terrible person, she was also born in that position and was taught from birth that her father and his government could do no wrong until she leaned about her father's death after being arrested by the armies of different nations as a young girl.

@@rockhound4088The Nazism certainly did their job, she was brain-washed 100%; I actually feel sorry for her, that she couldn't face the truth...rather ironic, given the state of the world these days!
I was hoping that maybe she might have changed in her 20's but no, she still blindly believed her daddy...some people just can't be helped! 🤷‍♂️

Even though she didn’t murder a single human being with her bare hands or was ordering tyrannical government policy to systematically have innocent & defenseless people murdered in ditches, gas chambers & burned alive in crematorium ovens. Her father’s crimes bestowed on her conscience and her reputation. It’s like the granddaughter of Benito Mussolini ( Alessandra Mussolini) her reputation is put as the “the granddaughter of the Leader of Fascist Italy” as she’s an advent supporter of Fascism to this day. Gundrun Himmler was a proud supporter of National Socialism 🤯
