unhauls are so therapeutic to watch!! i've been going through and trying to unhaul a lot of my books since I'm moving soon, but it's just so hard to find good places to take them sometimes!!
if you're in the US, i highly recommend selling on Pangobooks!
As a Library staff member, I wouldn't recommend donating annotated books since they most likely won't put it on their shelves, however if your library does used book sales they might accept then. Just depends, every library is different.

I just hauled a bunch of books. I am slowly unhauling as I read through the books on my shelves, but not in a massive manner like this. I did just do a clothes purge and there is definitely a sense of relief decluttering.

ooo, love this! I wouldn't say Lost Apothecary is anything too special, so I don't think you're missing out by unhauling it before reading. Starless Sea also is a lot of vibes, but I do think the plot is a bit stronger than Night Circus. For the books you annotated, you probably could sell them at a discounted price or put them in a little free library. đ

I know this is kind of late, but! When it comes to taking stickers off of books, I use oil and a cleaning spray! I'll peel off as much as I can of the sticker, and then carefully spread oil on what's left over. Let it sit for a little bit, and then wipe off whatever oil you can before going in with the cleaner. It may take a few passes to get it all off, but this is how I always take them off and it works wonderfully for me!

i didn't like the Night Circus either, i think it's just because it was not at all what the back cover blurb promised so my expectations were way off. I also am trying to convince myself that it's ok to keep just one book from a series if that is the only one i liked. i want to say it's ok, but its hard :)

Haha I feel you on being indecisive. You did great though! Unhauls are some of my favorite videos to watch. They give me so much motivation to clear out my own clutter.

i have an answer on how to get annoying stickers off books! i use this stuff called goo gone (just a little bit on a paper towel) to get any residue off and as long as the book isnât super fragile it works great!!

Ok, 5 minutes into the video, all of your unhaul books are favorites of mine. xD Feel very similar about Night Circus. Funnily enough, Girl in the Tower and Winter of the Witch have a lot of plot, it's just the Bear and the Nightingale that is a bit slow. :D Graceling was such a bore as well... Broken Things was ok, but not very special. For me, Mexican Gothic was overhyped, but I'd love to hear your thoughts. Unhauling the Book Thief is a great idea. ;)

If Iâve annotated in a book and want to unhaul it, I usually put it in a little free library! That way itâs their choice if they want to take it still or not lol.
