The mk3 is a great car, the mk2 is the best hot hatch ever made. A legend. Soon you’ll need 50k to get one.💙
It's certainly looking that way. Especially for the low mileage ones.
Yes becuz it has Volvo 5 pot engine 😎
Love everything about the MK2. It has the looks, the sounds and drama of a true RS. The MK3 is just a glorified ST IMO.
I think if u use the mountune fpm375 tune (the one that didnt void the ford factory warranty) on the mk3, you’d find a much closer 30-70 time. They found a lot more torque in the lower revs.
So a modded Mk2 with ~25% more power is quicker in a straight line than a stock Mk3. In other news, my farts are smelly
every older generations of cars are more engaging, lively. just because of the older rugged tech. drive the classic mini cooper and u get overdose of pure driving experience. I hope to buy the mk3 during recession for a bit better price 🙂 mk3 seems to be the last focus rs
Mk3 is boring yet the mk2 is a wide arched 2 door classic RS the last of its breed
Everyone's favourite car.
so you're comparing a fully tuned Mk2 against a stock Mk3??....um hello.........
It's just what we had to work with 🤷
I disagree, I prefer the mk2 interior
My guy 👊🏼
380bhp with a standard plenum, asking for issues 💥
Very few cars had plenum issues. A standard plenum with anything under 400 bhp is completely safe.
Very very rare plenums explode
The rs 500 is 345bhp with a standard plenum, no issues whatsoever!!
1000cc injectors for just 380hp?!?
Previous owner planned on going higher power but never did. Just a tad overkill haha.
Sorry 40 what... take it it has less than 20k miles
You seem so biased, i own a mk2 rs but when you said the mk3 is slightly better handling? Youre kidding right?
Not sure what you mean, of course the mk3 handles better.
@@ParagonCarsLondon kept saying in your video it handles slightly better? When here in Aus a mk3 rs walks any mk2 around the track
@@IFightForOne i own a mak3 , I believe it will do much better than mk2. However, mk2 is such a unique car, the price has gone up so much and close to mk3
@@luludodo12 not disagreeing, i own a mk2 and i could of got a mk3 if i wanted to but chose to go mk2 for its uniqueness and character
@@IFightForOne feels good to be a winner 🏆
I see MK3's all the time. They are okay. When you see a MK2 on the road it has the wow factor. 👌.
There are faster cars. (The mk3 for example and LOADS others) but it doesn't look as aggressive as SOUND half as good.
Funny isn’t it these cars where built for the masses to be cheaper than most and now coz of peoples greed u carnt afford them it’s a joke 🤦🏼♂️
Yeah, maybe some people see them as an investment rather than really like them as a car.
Its demand my friend. They're highly desirable and collectable which makes them expensive to buy. Its like anything else really.
Really… over 40k I’m sure that’s very inaccurate… most MK2s are around 18k to about 30k 🤣
Look on autotrader and you'll see you are in fact incorrect.
@@ParagonCarsLondon I have actually snd found I am correct 🤣 don’t know what your talking about :)

@@ParagonCarsLondon yes but there’s only a number at that price that has next to no miles
@@Carl_Mitchell you'll see two ultimate green cars there both with 24000-27000 miles on them. Both for the same price. The colour and the low mileage are the main factors in the value.
