  • Filmed from this great location at Miami International Airport to give our plane spotters & avgeek friends some fantastic views of the Airbus and Boeing aircraft lifting off right in front of the camera. Besides the takeoffs you can also observe some landings on this runway.

      Thanks Greg, glad you enjoyed the video! The films we put out are all 4 hours long and there is just no time for us to be listing hundreds of planes I'm afraid. Sorry

    Fantastic video. You really got me with the AR A340 opener. Couldn't start any better. I think that I've got them all sorted out. Just have doubts about the TAM at 9:49: A320 Neo?

      Thank you Alain, glad you enjoyed it and indeed that AR A340 in that angle is superb... The TAM you mention is a 767-300.

      It has got to be. I know there can't be any aircraft in American's fleet still flying their old AA , or U.S. Airways liveries since their merger was completed in 2015.

    What was the conversion done on the AV A330 cargo front nose gear? If you notice something was done to the fuselage? Stronger gear to take more weight?

      Judging by the elevation and the angle, my guess is they are filming from an upper floor of the Hilton Blue Lagoon hotel. Obviously with an excellent lens too! I referenced land marks in the video, them used Google maps to determine the line of sight. Unless they're on the tarmac in a bucket truck, this is the only elevated spot that makes sense.

    • @martinrabellrodriguez4551
      @martinrabellrodriguez4551 Před 4 lety +3

      No its just an untouched plane by the merger that hasnt been painted yet into the current American merger livery or it was to honour U.S. Airways. Saw the same thing with the TWA jet which they also have or had same thing like railroads do with their locomotives after a merger..

    @janwrede4555 Před 4 lety

    First i thought it was the american a321 with the livery of us airways. But why does it actually say "US Airways"? I'm confused right now, from when is that video take? 😄

    • @martinrabellrodriguez4551
      @martinrabellrodriguez4551 Před 4 lety +1

      Sometimes if you follow trains for example some of the companies after they merged keep the livery of the old company on the locomotives same thing with the airlines to honour it. American merged with TWA in which they had or still have a plane with the TWA livery on it. I hope that can explain your question.

    • @janwrede4555
      @janwrede4555 Před 4 lety

      @@martinrabellrodriguez4551 Thank you, that was very well explained. Makes sense too. I knew that the livery remains the old one on some planes, but I didn't know that the old name is also used sometimes.

    • @brandoncisonno4545
      @brandoncisonno4545 Před 4 lety +1

      The US airways livery is on that plane because a few years ago, American and US air merged and American used the US air livery on that plane as a sort of A retro livery

    • @lsnead72
      @lsnead72 Před 4 lety +1

      Also, they don't schedule the planes to be repainted all at once. They space out the timing.
