the SVA is a lot more understated compared to a roller, saw a blue on tan street parked one in fulham; and people see it as ‘another vogue’ which is a positive.
Agreed, also the new rolls kinda feels cheap for what it is, atleast from what i have seen on the goodwood channel
So why not just get a vogue? Are the gadgets worth 100k? 🤔. I know it’s better …but that much better?
@@chriswhite8728 I mean, these cars are bought by people who don't look at the price, its that rear left passenger experience. The queen may get one, she wont ask the cost. But at the same time, you wouldn't necessarily notice she was parked outside your local greggs if she rolled up in this compared to a Rolls.
Right? That's what makes this SUV so good! It has the extra Luxury of people not knowing that you have that luxury
@@jackpowell9276 I get your comments about discretion - but judging by lots of the comments (and my view too) I don’t believe the typical customer doesn’t care about cost or depreciation - it would be really be interesting to get the data on target market/average net worth for ranger customers …..the Queen would certainly blip the chart 😂😂

Range Rovers are still the best all around cars money can buy. They do everything, and the new ones are way more reliable than they get credit for.
Exactly! I do agree when something breaks it's expensive, but overall the new ones are pretty reliable.
This is statistically just not true though. Regardless of what people feel about these cars ( I think they look really nice ), they consistently rank amongst the least reliable cars on the market, including the newer year models.
This has nothing to do with some individual's experiences. This is cold hard facts of number of cars that break down and need repairs.

I Detailed a 2018 SV last week and the driver's door failed to open and is stuck. Great cars but the quality behind the scenes isn't there

Amazing video Sam! When we sell one of these, we built in a Apple CarPlay on the HDMI. Then you’ll be able to stream CZcams and Netflix from the rear seats ;)
Back in the late 80’s I had a 2 door, ex police RR.. it drank fuel, it had the power to ‘spin’ the inside wheel on roundabouts, it would top over a ‘ton’, the V8 sounded lovely & my gun dogs would sit perfectly in the rear…
The only hi-tech sound system it produced was that ‘burble’ from the exhaust, of the V8
PS.. it also pulled a HGV out of a snow bank…. in Low Range & in Diff Lock…😃😃

I laughed out loud at that - looks like a geeky in that paint job, just not as reliable - how long until it goes wrong? I’d give it a month. Land Rover will doubtlessly put wrong interior in too if my experience is anything to go by!

Several dealer principals my dad acted for over the years have all told him he is right not to have any brand loyalty - and if he came in to their dealerships with his company car allowance they’d send him next door to Audi, across the road to Bentley or Porsche.
The thing in the back is a set of unfolding rear-facing picnic/event seats in leather with footrests which sit on the lip of the rear tailgate. Maybe an idea to check out the features *before* you start filming?

he is smoking crack to compare any JLR vehicle with RR . The are not even remotely similar . I wouldn’t even compare my Bentley GTC with a RR Wraith . Totally different everything about RR is perfection which is why they hold their value, All of my experience with JLR ends with technical problems , my wife’s velar has had nothing but problems and every vogue i’ve ever owned has ended in dealer time .

I’m really torn as I love/hate the car, it’s a fantastic brand and has great capabilities in some areas and I love the history of the Range Rover - but I have to say it did arrive with the engine warning light on from new and proved to be the most unreliable car I’ve personally ever had and that list also includes a TVR! I get why people buy an armoured version for lots more money, but to buy a more ‘luxurious’ version for 200k is crazy unless build quality is radically better

I actually prefer the 2017 LWB RANGE ROVER SVAUTOBIOGRAPHY , it’s around 100,000$ USA 🇺🇸. The only thing I wish it had is the power closing rear doors.😩 But I’d get this one as well at some point. I can’t afford the Phantom but that’s the ultimate.

I know you know better than that. A slip of the tongue perhaps? The big Range Rover is simply known as the Range Rover. Being the original, it needs no special name like the Sport, Velar, or Evoque. Vogue is simply a trim level, and to call this LWB Autobiography a Vogue is a disservice to the branding.
I'm sorry to call you out on this, but I am overjoyed that you are finally working with JLR and don't want you to lose out on this opportunity.

That RR is a sweet bit of kit and I would definitely choose this over the other RR. The Cullinan to me looks like a Chinese Range Rover knockoff, all be it a very high quality one.

I think this is a much better choice than the Cullinan. It looks better, has more room in the back, is less ostentatious and has all the luxury 99.5% of people would ever want.
Shoe box, yes as an Indian I would definitely be thinking about it whenever I see a luxury car interior.
