Lovely video! Thank you for your help. This is great!! One question on pruning - where exactly do you prune? I have a Strelitzia that might be rotting so I need to prune some leaves. Do I leave some stems or prune it close to the beginning of the stem?
Hi Kateryna! Thanks so much for watching - happy to help and great to hear your feedback. Oh no! Hopefully it's not rotting away, but in answer to your question on pruning, I prune most part of the entire stem as close to the 'base' as I can. Just be careful not to go super, super deep into the base because new growth obviously emerges from there (I've had friends accidentally cut too deep and they've snipped off the new growths 'top part' of the leaf 😅). Hope that helps!
@@simpleplanty Will do!! Thank you so much.
@@katerynagordiychuk8184 no worries 😊🌱🙏

@@simpleplanty Actually been really nice having my partner home for a few weeks! Actually missing work (I know crazy!). I’ve just started getting into macrame, so when I get more supplies I can make you some hanging pot baskets 😁
@@Eaglehawk854 haha enjoy your time off, work will always be here 😉 you've always been extremely creative and always impressed with your creations!!! Can't wait to see some photos of the results ☺️
@@simpleplanty 👍🏼 will do! Maybe I should start making some tutorial videos 😁 I’ve always thought the “how to” video world could use its own platform. Concept project!!! Haha
@@Eaglehawk854 I was literally going to suggest that - a little side project. Video editing will also play on your strong suit of creative skills too 👏
