      @Steve_Mazza Před 2 lety +14

      Most commercially sold cinnamon is from the tree Cinnamomum cassia. Ceylon cinnamon is from Cinnamomum verum (formerly called Cinnamomum zeylanicum). Meaning, both products are from very closely related trees. Both products contain similar chemicals, such as cinnamaldehyde, but the proportions vary between the two. I think it's likely that either one should work against fungus and other pathogens.

    Totally agree, especially about cutting off some of the leaves if the roots are less, many people dont like to cut off old or yellow leaves,but if u dont it only burden the plant with unnecessary foliage. As long as u have some healthy leaves, cut the unhealthy or old leaves so that the plant will be able to focus on the roots and on new growth.

  • @pamelalee9677

    Hi Kaylee, I have tomato plants that are growing very quickly, but my only Roma tomato plant is suffering. I assumed I was overwatering that particular type of tomato plant so I stopped and noticed the soil still wasn't drying up. So I took it out of the soil, carefully washed the roots out with tea tree soap, brought it inside, and put it in my hydroponic bath with hydrogen peroxide and oxygen stones for 3 days. This has immediately brought back every suffering plant I've ever put in it overnight and is awesome for getting clippings to grow strong roots. However, this plant stayed wilted even after 3 days. So I went ahead and replanted it in fresh soil with extra worm castings and watered it somewhat conservatively with a weak compost tea. However, after 3 weeks, the soil still remained wet from when I replanted. It's as if it is almost unable to absorb anything including water. It gets the morning sun but is shaded from the afternoon sun because I live in Florida. I have tried moving it a couple times with no effect. The stem and the leaves are still green and the stem is still strong although extremely wilted, I've had to increase stake supports a bit. I'm concerned about it sitting in the wet soil this long and not sure what else to do and whether it will get worse or better. The roots are very thin and break easily even though it was my largest tomato plant at 15". Any advice is welcome. Thank you so much!!
