Honestly, what an incredible video. The respect Sledgehammer had in creating this game is tremendous. This time in history was absolutely horrific, however, it cannot be forgotten in order to make sure nothing like it happens again. We are very much so looking forward to playing COD: WW2 but we're also excited about learning more about the war and the events that took place. Looking forward to a great year, SH Games!

My great grandfather was a WW2 tank commander. He survived but he would never smile in photos and the stories he would tell were basically descriptions of hell, one of them include that he could never forget the sound of running over corpses and the bone cracking noise, and the screams of the axis and allies, but I’m a proud American and I thank him everyday for his service. 🇺🇸☝🏻

It's genuinely quite sad that a good portion, those who are 10-12 years old, are too young to fully appreciate the campaign and the sacrifices brave men made to give them freedom.
I am SO glad they arent hyping up this Call of Duty like how they did with the past ones. All the future themed CoD pre-release trailers seemed to all have the same “Woah look at this- its cool because it has guns and pretty colors!” message in it. Not this one though, this is something to respect.

My great grandfather served in 1st infantry division, before he died two months ago, he told me that Omaha beach was the most traumatic event he experienced. This game will show me what he been through. And he's the reason I started playing cod

Logan Wells I salute your grandfather I had a great great grandfather who served in WW2 but he died in 1984 so I never really knew him
Logan Wells your great grandfather was part of one of the finest infantry divisions of the US military "The Big Red One" men like him will never be forgotten. My grandfather served in the Army as well in the 43rd Infantry Division in World War II he served in the Pacific Theater in New Guinea and the Philippines he's still with us today at the age of 91 I've never pressured him into telling me any stories about what he went through because I have too much respect for him however he has told me things here and there one such event he ended up being awarded the bronze star and a purple heart with Valor for saving his platoon who were pinned down by Japanese Infantry and he also bought back a Japanese bolt action rifle a Type 99 Arisaka from one of them he killed the really interesting but sad thing is the rifle has a tally scratched in at the top which means he killed about seven of our guys before my grandfather put him down he's going to pass it on to me along with his uniform & medals when he passes I'm very fortunate though that he's still with us I will always be thankful to him and your great grandfather and every other serviceman for what they went through for all of us!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

This better be on the trending page everyone should see this even if they don't play games. People seem to forget about history especially all the young kids who don't really know much about WWII. This legit gave me goosebumps watching because I grew up learning all about WWII and it's amazing seeing how much they put into this game. Can't wait to get this and play it 24/7
The only side they are going to learn is the American side. WW2 was a war which all nations participate in, not just the US.

Great Uncle was a Paratrooper in the 82nd during World War 2. A full blooded Italian immigrant who wanted nothing more than to give back to America. He received 3 Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star, sacrificed so much for this country, the greatest country. I always think of him when I see anything WW2. Cannot wait to explore this game and campaign. Something in the netherlands? We germany took our country and my granddad and grandma were bombed in Rotterdam, but survived. Anne frank lived here. And we had the resistance called "het verzet". The netherlands has a big and painfull history from the war

Cod needs to do multiple more World War 2 games but from different perspectives on each game. One could be dealing with the Netherlands and the resistance, one could be on the pacific front, one could even be a mainland invasion of Japan that was an actually planned battle but did not happen because Japan surrendered first. It would made D-Day look like Childs Play

EpicShotzGaming Sledgehammer created Advance Warfare which, in MY own opinion, has quite a good campaign story. And now they are releasing COD:WW2. They are the company that Activision really needed.
My grandfather fought in WWII he was a medic in Europe he died when I was a baby so I was never able to ask him about anything if he would even want to talk about it

My great grandfather was a marine in ww2 and Korean war. He never wanted to talk about it because it was pure he'll he would say. I would really love to see a ww2 game that depicts the marines side in ww2 it would be awesome

This actually made me cry because my great grandfather was in this war and survived the first kamikaze of world war 2 it’s just compelling to see what these men went through to fight for our freedom
This video made me cry because of the sacrifices that were made to protect many countries and we have to dedicate ourselves to all those people and soldiers that died fighting in war for freedom and brotherhood.
I know this will be the saddest and most tragic campaign in all of COD.Its good they know what they’re doing.I am now preordering the game.Hope the game is good since the beta was good.

I still play this game and finished the campaign many times, it’s such a great story and its personal to me because I had a grandfather who was an intelligence sergeant in the US Army, my grandma was a holocaust survivor.. two very important people to me were in the war... I remember them telling me the stories and I still can’t forget them.. anyways thank you for an awesome game! I loved the story!

Even after its release, COD WWII still has an amazing campaign. Though short, not even 4 hours, it’s powerful.
My step-grandfather served on the Western Front and he has never really told my cousins and I what it was like being in war, so I was so excited to see what this game had in store. I learned about World War 2 in depth last year in World History, but it was pretty much just learning the casualties and battle dates--nothing about a person's point of view on what it was like in war. I got this game a week after it had officially dropped and the campaign was SO HEARTBREAKING, yet incredibly good. I can't imagine what all of these men went through. As an African-American, the US still has a lot of growing to do, but this war has made me see how great it is to be an American. Fantastic job, Sledgehammer!

My dad and his brother and several of my Uncles were in WW2. My dad was a airplane mechanic. His brother we have no clue what he did, but was killed in WW2. I never got to meet my Uncle Joe. So for me I have not played COD in years, but something compelled me to play the story line. Sledgehammer did it right and was careful how they went about it. I thank you for doing it for those solders who either lost or survived WW2. My dad never really talked about it and I never really pushed for information as I couldn't even fathom the thought of being in something like that, or how my dad felt. Thanks again for doing this right for those who are now gone and those who are still among us that served this great Country we call America.

My grandfather was a soldier in WWII. I don’t know the stories because he died before i was born. Not by the war, but even still he lived one hell of a life. After the war he did many things for many people and on his spare time made train models. When he died, some of his models got put into museums. You can see some at the Southern Lights in Kentucky. (I forgot the name of the horse park) I just want to thank Sledgehammer for making such a great game for such a great story to be told.
