Frankie Valli has one of the best falsettos. This group has a big catalog you may want to look at.
He is still singing today at the age of 88 unbelievable voice. Takes me back to my childhood when my parents listened to his music😊
Lex you must understand that high pitched voice is Frankie Valley’s trademark voice. He came long before Elmo and Justin Bieber.
There is no way in a million years Justin Bieber could hit those notes
Brad & Lex, you'll love his "Sherry" and "Rag Doll" w/ The Four Seasons, and "My Eyes Adored You" from his solo career!!!!
Hell yeah, they’re all bangers
I was a kid when these songs came out but my sister is 10 years older than I and listened to the Four Seasons many times. I'm now 68 and still love their music.
"Can't take my eyes off of you" is a must with Frankie.
Frankie Valle and the Four Seasons had a slew of hits. Great harmonies and Frankie's great Falsetto singing voice. He also had several solo hits. Great music in the 1960's and 1970's.
Super catchy. Hooks galore. More Four Seasons please. Great reaction
Awww this takes me waaaay back. Such great harmonies and lyrics. He really wants his lady to stay! Lex, perhaps their high voices and 'up' beat added to your feeling. Such a cute reaction, thanks guys🧡
Fun fact: Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons had more singles chart on Billboard's Hot 100 list in the 1960s than any other recording artist(s). They were simply a hitmaking machine. And Frankie Valli's falsetto voice is a big reason why. Check out the movie "Jersey Boys" for their story. Some great music there, too. You could do these songs by them: "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Sherry," "Opus 17," "Working My Way Back to You," "Tell It to the Rain."
Almost had that Phl Spector "wall of sound" feeling.
"Oh What a Night"!!!!!!
"A grown up Sesame Street"......Lex, you never cease to amaze me.
I dont know wether to laugh or cry.
The Jersey Boys! A seemingly endless supply of good music. Hope you decide to go deeper with this group.
Hit after hit. The Four Seasons ( give credit where credit is due) were the ultimate American pop band (with The Beach Boys) of the early 60s and into the 70s and not just Frankie Valli's amazing falsetto. Bob Gaudio was a master producer and song writer and the others harmonies blended with Valli's voice. Need to explore them more. Wonderful reaction..
What this is, is them doing Motown without it being a Motown group. It's got the straight ahead beat, the fuzz guitar, the horn section, the Bari Sax solo, Let's Hang On theme like You Keep Me Hangin' On by the Supremes, only that came later. "Baby baby?" The Supremes sang "Baby, Baby, Where Did Our Love Go, in 1964. It; Frankie Valli and the Four Motowns in effect...
Very early catalog. So innocent.
Early 60s. I'm also an analog person in a digital world.
Hope you guys are doing well. Miss Lex is going to be a great momma.
Brad and Lex. YOU TWO have got something special together. HANG ON to what YOU got! Brad you have got one special woman there. She is so funny, open , free-spirited...so ready to laugh and enjoy life. Lex YOU HAVE GOT one special man there...solid, down to earth AND you both seem to communicate so well with each other. You seem like the perfect match! Hang onto what you got. It IS something special!💖
This is the "Jersey Sound" popular in the '50's. Kids would get together and sing on street corners.
This song was a hit in 1965, when I was 13 and my brother was 11. I understood that pop songs were about love; my brother didn't. He wondered why Frankie wanted to hang onto a lot of lumpy peanuts.
"Jersey Boys" is a jukebox musical based on this group.
Let’s Hang on came out in 1965 on the Philips label - Quality !!
There’s a reason why they’re in the rock and roll HOF and have sold over 100 million albums worldwide!
The Musical "JERSEY BOYS" is structured about the 4 seasons.
Frankie Valley sings the song "Grease" from the famous movie. That song was actually written by Barry Gibb, as if he wasn't busy enough writing so many other great ones that year.
That group was the best back in the day
Tryin’ and cryin’
Great energy! ❤ I love that you both incorporate an eclectic array of music and videos.
One of my favorite songs.
Fabulous tune and legendary band. Many hits. Try some more of Frankie Vallie
Frankie...heartthrob...baby...
Yes it is bad that it feels like grown up Sesame Street. It's glorious music, with glorious falsettos and harmonies full of yearning and love. Absolutely classic and legendary performers.
Here's a thought. Maybe Sesame Street "borrowed" this style of singing etc. Paying ' homage' etc.
This is one of those songs that could help couples when they’re at odds with each other…. What’s more important the disagreement or the love in the foundation created before the argument
Great song...great group!
Love it❤️
Bada bing, bada boom
Takes me back to the skating rink days in the 60's, wow! Miss those days!
Lex you MAKE ME LAUGH, tears in my eyes laugh with your open , honest, pure reactions to songs. You get SO INTO the music, it is fun, entertaining to simply watch your reactions to the music.
One of the reasons I love you guys is that, every once in a while, y'all remind me of a song that I'd heard as a kid and had since forgotten. This is one of those times. 👍
Best Music Reactors in the Biz, as far as I'm concerned. ✌❤
The beginning of bubble gum music era 60s loved this era
Wow, just love revisiting these great old tunes. Thanks guys!
I was probably a sub-teen when this came out, it doesn't matter, the memories are there
Yeah baby Newark NJ!
A huge hit. Still brings back good memories.
love their' Beggin'!!
This that joint! The rhythm section on this song is on FIRE
This song was recorded in 1965. In 1966, this was reworded as a jingle for a Beech-Nut Spearmint Gum TV commercial. The Four Seasons sang on the ad, and Frankie Valli was the narrator, explaining how the flavor of the gum hangs on. It was an early use of a hit song being transformed for a commercial. czcams.com/video/tfZNN3C5vMM/video.html
Lex 😂 so cute the analogies
So damn catchy.
That Frankie Valli Sound.
I do hear a common thread as Brad said between this song and Justin Beiber’s Baby no
The Four Seasons had a great string of hits in the pre-Beatles years of 1962-3. When the Beatles and British Invasion changed pop music and ruled radio airplay, they could have disappeared like many other performers but this 1965 hit kept them on top and they and Frankie Valli as a solo continued to have hits for many more years.
The only singer to have a hit with a pizza!!!
Frankie is The Jersey Boy and his songs are great as in Grease
Alot of song from Grease. So deep of a catalog. From 50's to 80's frankie was deaf in his right ear always put a head phone to his left ear.
They got their group name from a bowling alley that they were going to perform at.
Now every time i hear this song, i'll have a vision of Elmo in my head singing this lol
I’ll bet people don’t remember part of this song being used in a Wrigley Spearmint chewing gum theme back then👌👌
This cat could melt an iceberg as well as the ladies.
do not miss Who Loves You Pretty Baby. it’s got everything
Great song!
Elevator Music...when this came out it was for old people🤣
You two should check out the story of The Jersey Boys and their murky beginnings as a proper criminal gang. It was made into a stage musical show and a movie too, all about these guys. Æx 🙏
The Four Seasons!!! Now check them out LIVE on the boardwalk in 1966 with their hit single "Opus 17"
A lot of good music by Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. One you need to check out is "Who Loves You" and of course "Grease"
A real "Diana Ross & the Supreme" Vibe...👍
👉You should hear Who Loves You Baby and Can't Take My Eyes Off You by this group.
Sesame Street Elmo vibes! Correct! 🤣🤣🤣
Please do more Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. There are SO MANY hits. Here are a few to start you out on...
Working My Way Back to You
Can't Take My Eyes Off You
Dawn
Opus 17 (Don't You Worry 'Bout Me)
Sherry
Rag Doll
Big Girls Don't Cry
Those background vocals are a screamin hoot!
music for the break-up, which happened to almost every teenager in the 60's. no wonder it was popular, it was relevant
Stone Roses... any song. All gold
Sunny Day
Sweepin' the clouds away
On my way to where the air is sweet
Can you tell me how to get?
How to get to……❤
You went with Muppets ,we all went with visegrips for those high notes. But was one of the best shows I ever saw in Vegas in 1978.
What a heartthrob
Their best one is - The Night.
END OF YEAR - you need to do Calendar Girl by Neil Sedaka who was in the Four Seasons! Great end of year song,
They have quite a few great songs to check out.
❤❤
I saw your Philly cheese steak tic toc. Brad I like your red and blue striped beanie. That is busy. And Lex I love your reindeer pants. Very Scandinavian looking :) Perfect for a part Danish lady.
If you want some major falsetto, not counting the Bee Gees who are the best, try "Sugar Baby Love", by The Rubettes from 1974.. they were definitely influenced by Franki Valli and The Four Seasons..
Maybe the best falsetto ever. The Four Seasons had terrific songs.
If you like this group, I would HIGHLY recommend watching the movie Jersey Boys. (2014) Two of the last living members of the Four Seasons (Frankie Valli & Bob Guadio) served as executive producers so we all know the scenes in the movie are vaild. I'd never knew how much mess the group were in back then, its a must watch.
I think this was used for a chewing gum commercial in the 60's if my memory is right.
Justin Bieber “baby” is from Baby Love by the supremes ✌️
The same singer that sang Grease.
That's when lyrics were written from the heart and not the hormones.
You should do The Jim Carroll Band- People Who Died
You struck Gold…..
THE CLASH - MAGNIFICENT SEVEN u would love it
What's interesting about this song is that the Stones had introduced the distorted guitar riff a few months earlier (in Satisfaction) - the Seasons pick up on that effect, though a bit puny compared to Keith Richards'.
Look up Sesame Street "Sad" it was kind of in the spirit of Frankie Valli hehe
Sooo....Funny. Brad with another "What???😖 to a bizzar Lex comment🤣😂🤣😂
Excuse me?? My man Frankie and Sesame Street?? Well! Lol! Frankie would have loved it! Try "Candy Girl" or "Begging". Some sort of rap or something band covered "Begging". You may recognize the much-superior original by the Seasons. Thanks for reaction to this tune by one my absolute favorite forever bands.
♥️
Now that you said sesame street, it does sound like a song from sesame street. 😂 i could see the muppets singing this.
Play 1963❤
I love Lexy's voices
You should listen to another singer called Jimmy Donley and his song called ( Our Love )
you should check out Otto Tune, he's done almost every hit since 2010
Check out what you can it's all good.
Try Opus 17. Frankie is great.
Check out "More, More, More" by Andrea True Connection, a popular disco song. Then check the singer's body of work. 😉
