We are Jacob and Jenny, a husband and wife passionate about traveling the world. We started uploading in May, 2021 with a goal to see as much of the globe as possible. After visiting Costa Rica and French Polynesia, the time was right to quit our full-time jobs, so we left everything to travel and have loved every minute of it. Our goal is to make it to all seven continents and visit as many countries as possible. Follow along and be a part of the journey!

It's pleasant to know that the majority of tourists have positive impressions of Malaysia. The population of Malaysia, which is composed of people from the three main ethnic groups that set Malaysia apart from its neighbors-Malays, Chinese, and Indians-is what makes the country unique. Every ethnic group in this country, is allowed to practise their own religion, speak their own language, and keep up their distinctive cultural traditions. English is still widely spoken in our country, even though younger generations don't speak it as well as we older generation did. This is due to the fact that, English is now taught as a second language rather than as the primary medium. You don't have to travel to China to get a glimpse of the country since a China Town is here. You don't have to go to India since there is also a little India right here. Malaysia is therefore truly Asia.
the only country that always belittle and degrade Malaysia- u know, i know that tiny spot next to us.
@@geodarnodan6750 Hmm.. I thought the only country that belittles/denigrates and spreads fake news/hoaxes about malaysia is much bigger, not a "tiny spot".
@@geodarnodan6750 - The country you alluded to genuinely believes that they’re doing better than us, which is somewhat true, but, even while we want to be competitive with our neighbours, we shouldn't be jealous of other countries' accomplishments.
It is such a wonderful place! Thank you so much for your comment friend :)
Thank you for nice words and appreciation of my country. There's a lot more good places to explore in Malaysia! Hope you will be come back.
It is a wonderful place!! We will be back! Thanks for watching :)
Pls come back and explore the other nice places/cities/islands and more food😊
We definitely will 🇲🇾 thank you for your comment ♥️
Because we are a British colony, we are influenced by the British Education system and english is officially the 2nd language in public national schools. Plus we are exposed by an early age to local english news on tv, local english radio stations etc etc. So it's just a very familiar language even if u don't speak it too well. Actually among the locals, especially in the big cities, we commonly speak in a mixed language to each other. There could be 2-3 languages in one sentence due to the cultural/racial diversity in the country
Malaysia used to be a British colony but gained independence more than half a century ago. Due to Malaysia's colonial past and race diversity most Malaysians are multilinguists, speaking, and reading, in at least two languages, the most common languages on their signboards are in Malay, English and Chinese, but they also speak many other languages and dialects.
Wow that is so interesting!! Thank you for sharing all that information :)
Our islands are very beautiful and easy to access but not many people like popular places like Thailand or Bali and we kinda like it that way😊
We need to see them for sure!! Thanks for watching :)
Hope that you guys have had a good time and a pleasant stay in KL, Malaysia. What a lovely video. Come back soon, I got a feeling that the cost of living will change in the future.
Oh no. Someone better take note of the sliding tiles in the Merdeka Square. The signage isn't supposed to be that way.

You must understand that MALAYSIANS are PEOPLE WITH VERY SHORT MEMORIES....THATS THE BEST THING ABOUT MALAYSIANS...... WE DO HAVE A ....TIDAK APA , BOLEH LAH AND CINCAI LAH ATTITUDE.....WHAT DOES THIS MEAN....IT MEANS WE DO NOT MAKE A FUSS OVER LITTLE THINGS AND ARE WILLING TO BE ACCEPTABLE OF MOST THINGS NEGATIVE WE HAVE A GREAT ATTITUDE AND MOST OF ALL WE DO NOT CARRY GRUDGES AND ARE VERY WILLING TO OVERLOOK SOMETHING WE DONT LIKE.
BOLEH LAH IS CAN DO ATTITUDE
CINCAI LAH IS ...OKAY NO WORRIES WHAT ATTITUDE
TIDAK APA IS ALSO ...DONT WORRY IT WILL DO ATTITUDE
ITS THESE THREE ATTITUDES THAT IS APPARENT IN THE MALAYSIAN PEOPLE THAT MAKES OUR COUNTRY AND OUR SOCIETY PEACEFUL AND HAPPY

The best way to fully enjoy travelling in Malaysia is spend about a month and travel leisurely to cover at least the following destinations like KL, Malacca, Genting Highlands, Cameron Highlands, Ipoh Cave, Penang, Pulau Redang, National Rainforest Reserve, and Kota Kinabalu.

Malaysia offers luxury similar to Singapore but at a fraction of the price. It is also known as a medical tourism hub and took the top spot in the Healthcare category of Annual Global Retirement Index 2019. If you plan to do a comprehensive medical checkup or dental procedure without breaking the bank, Malaysia is a great place to consider. ☺
Majority of tourists have positive impressions of Malaysia, but there's one country that always belittles and degrades Malaysia- u know, I know that tiny spot next to us.
It is a great place!! Thanks for watching :)

My father was involved in the construction of KLCC Twin Tower. Even then one tower was built by Korean and another by Japanese contractors.
I am from Malaysia. Many buildings in Malaysia were formerly built by Koreans since the quality and materials manufactured in your nation are more earthquake-resistant, but our project is now heading to China.
English is our second language here in Malaysia. We study English in our elementary school
That is so interesting! Thanks for sharing :)

Singapore was part of Malaysia 1963-1965😄
Right!! Thanks for watching :)
It's not exactly right to say that the new generation speak less better English as compared to the older generation...they are a lot international schools in mlysia right now and examination for English papers are quite a lot and the syllabus keep on upgrading....the problem of this nostalgic elder generation is that they are always been proud with their period of time without understanding what been improved forward...
That makes sense!! Thank you for sharing :)
i think..wth out greeneries kL would be less beauriful..really
The greenery makes it so beautiful!! Thanks for watching :)
Everybody in Malaysia is glued to the phone

8) Malays are the first people arrived in North America, arrived there in year 800.
No. Unless you are off the same dna stock as the Hawaian or native Indians. We are all humans.
@@Avicenna_76 That is what I want to tell you, Hawaiian and Indians are indeed Malays.
@@CHEA1111 , Hawaian yes. But the native red indians looks a bit different if you look at the body and facial structure. Eskimo is closer to Banjar people if you look at their body build with barrel chest.
@@Avicenna_76 It is DNA proven 😊
@@CHEA1111 , I will look it up.
Malaysia people learn basic english in school..
That makes sense! Thanks for the information :)
