This answered many important questions.
Many underestimated the time it would take to develop these new technologies, because the speed of adoption of new technologies increases with time which can create a bias towards exponential expectations.
It takes time to develop world changing innovative new technologies, but when having a bias focusing on the close future with a 3-6 month perspective, it's difficult to keep a long term focus and not let the bias create doubt for the future because of short term bias.
Another result of this may be that people can get bored, if they have nothing to focus their attention on.
In this case finding a way to join this development effort and participate could solve the issue for those who don't just want to wait and watch things happen, but it's difficult to find the appropriate way to do it when everything is becoming more decentralized and remote focused.
The Smart Contract Development course is a great idea for this situation.
For people who are watching with an outsider perspective it's difficult to get an idea of everything that's happening and being developed.
I would greatly appreciate if you could share your perspective more often and really liked this Chainlink Town Hall on twitter.
