Pink eye or eye flu is an inflammation of the transparent membrane that lines the eyelid and eyeball. This membrane is called the conjunctiva. Most likely, it occurs due to infection.

What is Pink Eye or Eye Flu?
Scientifically, it is called Conjunctivitis.
Swelling in the conjunctiva, the outermost covering of the eye.
What causes Eye Flu?
Infection.
What are the symptoms of pink eye?
Red colouration in the eye.
Prickness in the eye,
The feeling of any foreign thing like sand in the eye.
Watering the eye or Discharge from the eye.
Slight loss of vision.
How does eye flu or Conjunctivitis Spread?
Contact with Discharge from the eye,
It does not spread through sitting or communicating together.
How to prevent its spread to society?
Maintain proper hygiene,
Separate use of our pillow, towels, and hanker chef.
Avoid touching your eye
A continuous wash of hands with soap,
Use sunglasses.
What is the treatment for eye flu?
Antibiotic,
Lubricating drops.
Artificial tears,
Avoid counter usage of medicines.
What is the recovery period?
One week to 1 month to settle.
