There was some noise about running a regional passenger line down this route from Raleigh to Fayetteville (the other option was CSX to Selma and then south). Any word if the new owners would be amenable to some additional traffic?

Well, the 10 MPH speed limit might put a crime in things.
Why such a low speed limit, the line seems to be in decent shape.
