Nice info on the video. Solid explanations. Thanks. We have found Soft Grad ND .6 or .9 to be nice for controlling the hot sky above the golfers. Sometimes hard grad work better when at long focal lengths. Also 6x6 or 8x8 white reflectors positioned up against a golf cart for stability and safety (use clamps) great too if you have time and resources to do so. A Nanlite 500B II, in battery config, sometimes helpful on single waist-up shots for hosts nice.

cools tips. What is the best setting for the camera, such as frame rate and exposure? Thanks!

Thanks for the vid! Great advice. I plan on starting out a golf vlog Chanel. What is your opinion on using a go pro with a decent mic?

I’m just getting into filming golf content and using a Zhiyun Smooth 5 with the iPhone 14 Pro. My equipment is polar opposite of yours. I’d be interested in any tips and tricks you could show us with a more budget friendly setup like mine.

I don't know man, I watched the Experior Golf video you made and to my eyes way too much out of focus and shaky footage. And a few underexposed bits aswell. I liked the framing. The ND filters did not help with ghosting on back lit scenes.

I can’t say you’re totally wrong. These new mirrorless cameras have some crazy stabilization that cinema cameras can’t match without $$$ of equipment. Also the lower aperture and single operator makes focusing harder than autofocus and higher aperture. It’s definitely a dance.
