    With 14' high ceilings in this new townhome, false alarms can be quite a hassle to silence. This is what the Google NEST Protect smoke and Carbon Monoxide detectors were made for. False alarms can be temporarily silenced via phone app and then reactivated automatically once the smoke has cleared. Be notified faster than your babysitter of any potential issues at home, while you're out at dinner and a show on date night.
    Modern homes with central air and retrofit central HVAC heating and cooling systems can spread deadly carbon monoxide and smoke throughout the house in seconds. For added protection, pair Nest Protect Smoke And C/O detectors with Nest Learning thermostats and you can really level up the safety factor in your home with automatic HVAC air handler suspension. When a NEST Protect detects smoke or CO, it will signal the thermostats to shut down the forced air in your home, slowing the spread of deadly gas and fumes.
    Add some security cameras indoors and outside for the complete peace of mind against fires, burned food, carbon monoxide and would be thieves.

    Your video and also one from Google doesn't mention about making sure the electricity turn off before doing the cabling, is this assumed, or there won't be AC to worry about?

    • @elitehandyman911
      @elitehandyman911  Před 8 měsíci

      Yes, you should always turn off the power at the breaker box before working with electricity.
      Thanks for the question.
