    My favorite introduction:
    Signal for everyone to stand.
    They don’t get to sit until they show listening comprehension.
    Teacher calls out review items.
    For example, reviewing colors and or clothing:
    “If you have white shoes, sit down.”
    Continue with black shoes, a green shirt, blue pants, etc. until everyone is seated. For fun I have a noisemaker to signal mistakes, or I just make an odd noise (sad trombone). Latecomers will end up standing the longest because they’ve missed so many categories already spoken by teacher.

    Thank you for your videos! They're very helpful. This week with all my classes I updated my "Today we're going to.." to be more specific with outcomes. Early days to know if it's helpful for students, but it has sure helped me focus my lessons. Thank you!

    Question to english teachers,
    What is correct to say: different from or different than?
    In the example below, which is correct?
    a) Cost of life has a different meaning than cost of living.
    b) Cost of life has a different meaning from cost of living.

    So much talking .where are the activities?
