I am sure this will upset many people lol but never forget I have played this game for hundreds of hours and all I want is for this game to do well in the west.
We definitely need an approach for balance. As it stands now, gear has a massive impact on winning conditions, to the point where skill or strategy makes no difference.
Hopefully, devs will keep doing the amazing work they have been doing :)

I played the 3v3 and i think they have to remove traits for 3v3 arena, like sword shield and wand can't be kill at all. And they just sleep you and ur dead wait for CD and use it again on other player and dead. But i have to say the 3v3 arena is super fun tho, all they have to do is just remove traits for arena.

Hi man, i appreciate all your comments and agree with all of them. In the west they MUST change how gear works in all the arena the will release. In the arena and maybe later in other small scale pvp contents they MUST force an equal lvl of gear, but also an equal maximum lvl of weapon mastery, everything must be equal for everyone, this is the right and best way to do ranking contents. Otherwise they have to call this events (free win events for whales) 🤣

if they want gear to matter in arena matchingmaking should be GS based + ranked you match vs player with similar gear.

Haha You and me both! I just want the game to be the best it can be when it comes out over here and dont get me wrong NCsoft are doing a great job just somethings I dont agree with and thats ok 👍🏽.
Arena should be equalized its the case in many games for a reason. As you said there are plenty of PvP modes where gear matters already. Now it's only a few weeks of testing hopefully NCSoft realises that it's a mistake. And if not equalized then the traits should not ba as hard to farm as a F2P player.
Yes this is my point and I understand we all like to farm gear and have it mean something and that is fine I just think for Arena equal is the best approach!
The chance that NCSOFT would bring equalized gear to arena its close to non existant.
@@warr39 Correct but they have stated they are looking at feedback so we shall see what happens in time but yes I agree the chances are slim.
based video you are 100 percent correct about everything you said here arena is only for people in max gear and not the rest of the player base in its current state.
Yes exactly it will put many players off when they realise they simply cannot compete then they will just not play the mode at all and it will be the same players only playing.
Leveling and they need to match 2dps with a healer on both sides, or 3v3 dps if healing is anything like NW healers are just hard to kill period and the side with heals almost always win in 3v3.
@@OGParzoval Healers can be very strong in TL but what is even worse is Paladins a good geared S&S / Wand user is almost unkillable lol.
Yea if my experience was like yours, I would be done with arena. Like you must have stun or die in 4 secs
I am under geared which is what some people will try to use as a arguement against me but thats my whole point if you always have to have the max gear then it will put many global players off.
@@ItsMrO Well, I think then the game should put you on against balanced teams, like by your gear level, but never equalize everyone's gear...
This way you will be able to advance in the ranking little by little while farming better items, don't get me wrong, but if we want to equalize gear, then we will equalize traits, then skill level, then artifacts and then any other mechanic, this way we will create a game increasingly instantiated where open world activities will no longer be necessary.. I think ranked-arenas should be another reason to play the MMO game, let's be honest, GvG and CS aren't enough..
I mean, this is expected right? it's the first day and everyone is under the same ranking-level, let's see in 2 weeks, whales will be top of the ranking and you will be fighting against people with the same gear..
But I agree this is not fun, so I think match-making should take into consideration the gear-level of your team and try to equalize that
great points all around. The map designs are awesome and the dynamic map is a nice touch.
Equalizing gear is a must here, and they NEED to change this to allow this game mode to thrive. Not only is it not fun for anyone getting stomped, doing the stomping isn't all that much fun either.
on a completely different note, I plan to run Wand/Dagger and it warms my heart to know the top arena player is running that. It makes sense tho, burst damage, dots, invis, and heals.

Its not crazy to say that Arenas should be equalized. Lost Ark for example despite having a lot of importance onto gear still made arena's equalized. No reason that T&L arena's shouldn't be equalized as well.
Edit: After watching the first match yeah this is horrible. It will just be a one shot fiesta and that isn't competitive at all. Locking people out of content solely off their gear shouldn't be a thing in an environment that is meant to be ''competitive'' with a ranked system. The people with the most skill will likely not be at the top of the leaderboard and instead it'll be the people with the best gear.
Yes LA has many of its own issues but you are right they did it right for Arena.
There is no fun if it is no equalized. Like Destiny for example.
They should make (arena) PVP gear.
I fully agree and the thing is there is PvP stats already in the game but its currently still not being used...
Not gonna front; 3v3 NOT Being Equalized gives a chance for the Whales to Whale and show it off while also maybe pulling them out of some OTHER PvP content.
Equalized should be a thing, but 'Raw Ranked' could be good for the overall health of the game. (and really; why not BOTH?!)

Wtf are you talking about? Oly in L2 was NOT equalised. It was also a total mess with no ballance whatsoever.

Its an mmo, whats the point of farming gear if everything is equalized, doesnt that take the fun out of all the effort you put into acquiring your gear?
I literally explained in the video that for all of the rest of the PvP that can remain with your gear but for a ranked 3v3 Arena equal gear is much more fun & fair in my opinion...We already have GvG / Open World Dungeon PvP / Tax Delivery / Siege War / PvP Open World Boss Events & PvP Events where your gear matters.
Arena is dogshit, one of the big reason of that is because TL is the worst game regarding balance ( at least from what i've already experienced, and i've played lot of mmos).
Gear should defenetly be normalized in arena.

I have heard alot from streamers with no gear or very little t2 gear traits expecting to have a fair fight but when your that far behind you carnt expect to be competitive in pvp arena ,open world ,gvg doesnt matter then expect the people that ha e put the time in to be weakened however a separate bracket would be fine more choice but no titles etc
What do you mean the open world does not matter? What I am wishing they done was have equal pvp for arena only you can keep the rest of the pvp content the same as it is now if they keep it this way it wont do very well in the west because many casual players will not play the mode and it will just be the same players only in the arena which becomes boring but hey I am 90% sure that they wont change it so it is! But in August we do have a balance update coming so we shall see if that makes any difference with the longer TTK etc
@ItsMrO what am trying to say is most Koreans have fully traited t2 gear or almost there ,the western players are either behind on the gear run or not even started due to wanting to wait so it's hard to say it's balanced when there so under geared and equilizing wouldn't fix the issues like class balance ,however its mmo so class equality will still be imbalanced like sns/wand normalised would still be u killiable to a normilesed dps
@@wolfhowllionheart9367 Oh yeah of course there will always be something not 100% balanced in an MMO for sure I get that I just know that this will put more players off because this is where the P2W gap can really show itself in small scale PvP and the game is already getting a shit ton of hate with regards to the P2W

This game is a lost cause. A 3v3 area for this garbage game was always going to fail.
The game is a good MMORPG but they have handled the Arenas poorly but we shall see if they listen to the feedback from the community they still have time to make changes.
Im almost sure that I'll definetely NOT play this game after release. It look so stiff and clunky compares to much older productions and somehow a much uglier
Well the game is actually very good & fun to play if you enjoy TAB target MMORPG's also its F2P so you lose nothing trying it out on July 18th there is a Open Beta for the Global version so check it out and see for yourself if you don't like it then all good hopefully you find another game that you do enjoy!
