Yes Staff / Longbow is actually my favourite build combo in this game 👍🏽.

Thank for the great work as usual. In Lost Ark I really enjoyed the Artillerist style, can you recommend any combination that would give the same feeling (tanky slow range)?
Thank you and erm you wont really find that kind of build the closest you can do would be the Paladin build which is S&S / Wand due to it being very tanky and you get some range with the Wand
I start with staff + dagger. I think that is pretty good because from there I can just add another weapon, and then Im be safe in the meta. Also, I like playing Mage.
@@oliverh.2450 Yes Staff / Dagger is a great choice I will be doing what I have done already in KR which is Staff / Bow and then build dagger for small scale pvp

@@soulbound5732 I use Exitlag and have a decent PC ping never has been an issue for me on KR just lucky I guess !

@@soulbound5732 Open beta is on July 18th so play that and then on July 24th on the KR server we have a hyper boost server so best to go back then as you will get gear very fast on this server
Wanted to go dagger/snb. Wanted to be tanky and still put out some dps.
@@AcHr22 You can do that just be aware that during PVE people will assume you are the tank so aslong as you are ok with that then all good.
the best combo all-rounder is range weapon/melee weapon, why not range/range? because in reality if you don't have crowd control skills you won't be able to make a gap to use a ranged weapon if you fight with assassin/melee, imho
You can play range/range I literally play Staff / Longbow but that's built for pve and mass scale pvp like the siege and tax delivery for smaller scale pvp its better for me to use Staff / Dagger or Longbow / Dagger
But at the end of the day in this game you can play any weapon combo you like but to keep it simple for new players I mentioned the most played / meta builds currently in KR.
Meta will change VERY OFTEN once this game full releases globally and millions more players are breaking it.
Of course and I will check out the new skill changes soon as they go live on the KR servers
i would like to play something compareable to a Hammer/Greataxe in new world.. a bruiser fighting in a 10-15ppl clumb and can dominate the fight. What would be your choice for that?
Right now in Throne the TTK is very fast the only players that can stay alive in a huge clump is tanks / paladin this game is not like New World you wont be going around 1vX people you need to work as a team but the dev's have heard the community and they are trying to make the TTK be longer and also make balance changes in August.

Can you play S/S as a DD?
Currently how it stands not really S&S in this game is built around being a tank but tanks in pvp in this game still do alot of damage
Meta gonna change every patch here and there, as you mentioned.
Problem is there always gonna be people who will abused the meta, and it will be a mice and cat play, between players and Devs.
Best thing to do to the game is to Balance it as much as they can, and introduce MORE skill GAP. and then we would have a game with great potential .
And last not least!!! Tune down the Guild shit, some players like to play in a small Guild like a mercenaries and not be part of 324728937489237 People legion/guild.

I agree with regards to the meta people will always use whatever is the best in all games it just is what it is and to your last part about why is it not in the open beta they are basically using KR as a testing ground so they tweak stuff before it comes to global.
@@ItsMrO I dont think KR being a test ground is going to work long term or at least last. EU is likely going to be their largest market and they'll have to start catering to it if they want to remain viable long term.

Why is no one talking about greatsword crossbow for pve?
@@MrEgg- You can play GS / Dagger for pve & pvp its fine for both but only a few ppl have played GS / Xbow

@@MrEgg- Oh well I don't have a video, but I played it in the closed beta. The greatsword is good for high DPS in close range, and when you're mid range you can pop your crossbow skills while you run up to them
