On today's autism family vlog: Kev, Andy and Amy are on their own for the evening because Anna is out with her friends from university, so we had to fend for ourselves. Luckily we were sent two big boxes of sweets which made things a little easier! Plus another exam for Lucy and a great writing session.
Help raise autism awareness with a "Different is not Broken" t-shirt, hoodie or mug. For every one we sell, we'll donate £5 to the National Autistic Society: tspr.ng/c/new-...

Hi
If you could live anywhere in the world where would you live
Any of the big cities: London, New York, Tokyo, Paris, San Francisco, etc
So this has got me curious what do the wiggly lines on your street mean? We don't have wiggly lines only straight lines in the US.
Colleen Bighley I've often wondered the same thing.
I think it means slow down children or a crossing.
Hiya, my youngest has just been diagnosed with high functioning autism, we are in the uk. I guess I kinda feel at a loss as to what to do now...
She is 5, non disruptive in school, but can be challenging at home where she is comfortable. She seems happy at least 85% of the time but I can't be completely sure.
Lol, I don't even know why I'm writing this...I suppose I kinda feel like I don't know what to do next to help make her life better? More full?
It’s very similar to parenting a non-autistic child really - you just do what you can to make them happy, encourage their interests, etc. - you might just find her interests end up being a little unconventional!
Kevin Chapman Thank you for the reply, yeah nothing is different from the day before, it's just me! I'm not bummed out or anything, more relieved I suppose!
Everything is fine, I am happy that her teacher will be getting some more assistance in the classroom and her Dr's are setting up some speech and language therapy to start soon too!
I can't help but feel as though I could do more but I suppose every parent would in the same situation!
Your channel is brilliant btw, you make great videos! I can't wait until the kids are in bed and I can binge watch to get some pro tips lol! Thank you for all you do, all the best to you and yours!

I say take them to places but also give them some entertainment like youtube where they can get interested into stuff and it can help them. Also its great to teach them manors where every they go! It can help alot if the child is really interested in something. An autistic kid actually got into rollercoasters from going to a park and watching rollercoasters and it developed him so much I never even knew he was autistic. Here is the video about his life and how one passion changed him forever. czcams.com/video/VtQA5uqbyas/video.html
mmmmm Sweets make everything easy ;D
Hi Kev what’s up with Andys tv? Cuz I’m replacing my mums tv and no use for her old one (23inch) not a lot but something
We're not sure, it just doesn't turn on anymore.
Kevin Chapman ok when I'll replace mums tv ( soonish) I'll send her old one to your po box
That’s very kind of you, thanks
What does Andy mean with ola
His teaching assistant at school is called Orla.
Do you like living in the UK
I don’t dislike it, but I’d rather live in a big city

Can the girls not keep an eye on Andy for an hour or 2?
Not at bed time, we wouldn't feel comfortable.
Kevin Chapman Oh, ya. I guess bed time wouldn't be a good time.
