I absolutely love this guy outside of football. He's so well spoken and underrated. He's tackled and and talked about the racism and the super league issues. A genuinely great human being.
He got 3 B's and a C at A-level; no where Harvard's normal standards. Through his parent connections, he received an offer of a sports scholarship to be on the Harvard Men's Soccer team; which he rejected to continue his football in England. So I don't disagree he's refreshing to watch in interviews; but it's not true to necessarily say he's intelligent, or at least as intelligent as everyone perceives because of that Harvard offer.
