- Many objects and buildings in Los Santos you will find in Los Angeles, because Los Santos in GTA 5 is a copy of Los Angeles.
I made a comparison of these two cities, but instead of real pictures of Los Angeles, I used Google Earth.

kestev22 not really, everyone’s probably killed hella people on gta v, and this map doesn’t even compare to LA, every time i go los angeles its not even odd to see cops driving around and parked everywhere
@@gechotaris I was just saying cause I often mess with cops in the game, so yea I guess it wouldn't be weird considering I wouldn't be near a cop in LA but I don't plan on traveling anytime soon.
I think my total was like 500 cops but I think like 1200 people are killed in the game

FACTS! I had a performance with my friend at Venice beach and the ONLY reason we got there in time was because we had a pic of the venue and remembered what it looked like in the game 😂 both our phones died in traffic on the way over there, and because of GTAV we actually found the spot!!

Me and my wife went there with a rented car on our honeymoon and had very little issues travelling around because of gta.
Imagine how do people who live in LA feel like when playing GTA 5
We don't feel anything, 90% of la isn't in the game.
LA is like 10X bigger than GTA V so only areas we know is downtown and the beach areas
At home
I live in LA and play Gta V but it feels normal. Los Santos is actually pretty different than Los Angeles itself. The only accurate places are downtown and the beach, so it feels pretty normal.

The one thing Rockstar didn't get it right is the lack of homeless camps around DTLS.

Bc graphics are different than pictures, camera can’t see the same resolution as your eyes see, yet graphics can make a picture to the resolution your eyes see.

It's possible to actually make an exact replica of L.A with 3D modelling. You take a satellite image of it from google maps and free software turns it into a model which you could make a game or something with. You would need a pretty good PC to handle it though. If you're interested, see CG Geek's video on "How to make any city in Blender". (Blender's also free)
