I kind of find it weird that Rockstar decided to add a rendition of a part of New Jersey instead of recreating the fifth borough of New York- Staten Island.
They said it was because Staten's too hard to get to and too spread out.

GTA 4 is my childhood and the theme song is so catchy
Gta 4 is to damn unique. Each character had their own unique style. Damn to the accent and culture. It was so mixed up even down to the mpc. Gta 5 is OK game but the diversity is not the same as gta 4. The car physics is even realer. There's actually understeer/over steering and real braking distance. Some cars had No abs or abs . you can tell which car is awd, fwd or rwd once you turn a corner and exiting a corner. The damage system was the best. You know what gta 4>gta 5. Gta 5 is for kids. You can literally explore more buildings than gta 5. I remember we had to glitch inside buildings just to get for gta 5 and now they patched it.
I totally agree! If anything they should remaster gta4. Physics were way better in that game

Rockstar are simply genius, replaying GTA 4 right now and happened to look this up
ok all comparison photos of the locations here in NYC with the GTA 4 version and real life photos matches but Tbh at 0:35 with the elevated subway photos that doesn't match because first of all the pic above is showing the west end line in Brooklyn from a scene from the early 1970s film the French connection where the cop Popeye Doyle played by gene Hackman is chasing the N train because a French mob guy try to murder Doyle by using a sniper kill him in the projects and got away by escaping on the train at bay 50 St and bottom pic is most likely based on the Williams burg subway where the J,M and Z train goes in Brooklyn.

RockStar was much more realistic with the graphics in GTA 3. Can you just imagine GTA 3's Liberty City rearranged to geographically accurately portray New York and New Jersey ShoreSide Vales in GTA 5 graphics?

there's a few other places too i could let you in on.. the pier 45 is he same pier mall by the bodies exhibit muesam which does have the helitours as accurate., and getting on the high way near there (real life),is the same as the highway where nicos neighbor hood is. ahh memories

i am afraid Liberty City doesn't feel alive as New York. Half of it is empty, not enough pedestrians. It is alive in its aspects but not as New York.
