How to Set up the Festool Kapex Extension Carrier

Getting the Festool Kapex Extension carry set (protection caps and strap) was a headache the first time I attempted to install them! From what I could tell, there were no manuals that covered this and the videos that did feature them didn't explain the right way to do it. I realized that there are likely other owners that have a need for these or there are carpenter crews that might benefit from an instructional video demonstrating how to do this. Hope this helps!!

How about how to put this on the stand. Mine are rubbing against the Black locking mechanism and the cart ... I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be this way and would be helpful to see more closeup how they go.

Feel your pain, hate it when systems don't mingle as they should. I wish I had the UG stand! I mean....if Festool wants to send me one I'd be all for it 😂😀 I think I'm going to get the MFT Kapex eventually though as I don't have a need for a mobile stand. Wish I could help!
