Thank you for taking the time to go through safety steps, most people don't do that! Pony club would be proud!

This is the only shampoo I use on my horse, I love it! She is grey tobiano and it always leaves her sparkling!

Thank you someone he realizes that if you don't want your horse to roll in the mud off the bathing him you simply need to just hold him to make sure he doesn't roll
It annoys the crap out of me when people complain about the bosses rolling after they've been days when the solution is simple as just hand grazing almost for half an hour until he is dry

Don't dry your horse off in the sun. Keep them in a well ventilated area until they dry off or it can ruin their coat. I've learned from past experiences. Also, I have a dark/seal brown mare and one day I turned her out after I bathed her and she didn't roll, but when she was dry her coat got sun damaged and she turned a little bit orange!

Loved this video and I use Showsheen on a daily basis. It lasts me ages even with me using it on 3 horses with white markings that like to get very dirty. I'm yet to find a stockist of the 2in1 shampoo but I'm keen to try it because every product from Absorbine is yet to disappoint me so far. :-)

Does anyone know where you can get that headhose? It spreads the water so well! Could really use on of those.

What is the attachment on the hose? Is this a specialty product or available anywhere? Thanks!

+Liz Hadley we're not sure what brand it is, but it's basically the same as the attachments used for watering and gardening. You could find it at the hardware store and probably cheaper than one made specifically for horses!

I'm not sure what brand hose attachment we have here, but they sell similar ones for gardening at the local hardware which may work just as well!

Some people I know use washing up liquid to bath their horses. (NOT ME!!!) The stables at my college do, I've heard it very bad for the horses skin and coat if this is used, it makes people's skin dry out and crack so what's it doing to the horses skin?! What's your opinion??!

Great points, you are correct. Did you know that a horse's skin is up to 4 times more sensitive than a person's? At Absorbine, we've long known the issues that can arise from using soaps and shampoos on a horse - stripping of the natural oils from the skin and coat. We designed ShowSheen 2-In-1 Shampoo & Conditioner with this exact concern in mind! Here are some factors that help horse owners love this shampoo, especially if they need to bathe their horses often:
-It is precisely pH balanced for a horse's skin.
-It contains NO sulfates. Sulfates (like sodium laureth sulfate) are commonly used in soaps and shampoos. They break surface tension of liquids, allowing a product to sweep away dirt. Our shampoo cleans gently without sulfates, meaning it leaves more of the natural oils in place.
-It contains no parabens. Parabens are harmful to people and are banned in a lot of products.
-It does contain Pro-Vitamins and conditioners to nourish the skin and coat as it cleans.
These features mean that this premium shampoo reduces the occurrence of flaky skin (skurf) often associated with ordinary shampoos, and leaves your horse's coat soft and luxurious!
