Yes, it's good to use on puppies. Just make sure they aren't licking too much of it off. Speedy healing!

What a wonderful thing to do for horses
I hope this works. I went to vet last week for my cat hot spot. They gave me antibiotic with steroid. It caused diarrhea and my cat to vomit. It nearly healed but she reopened the wound tonight. I don’t want to do that steroid cream all over.
We are truly sorry to hear about your ordeal. One of our cats had this type of issue and it ended up being an allergy to chicken. They changed food to one with zero chicken or chicken byproducts, and it resolved. You've likely heard all of this before but just in case! We hope the Silver Honey heals them up quickly, and that you figure out the cause of it!

Has anyone tried it on themselves? Regardless of the manufacturer saying it’s not tested, of course they cannot say it’s safe for liability reasons - but that doesn’t mean people haven’t used it - my question is has anyone tried it on their own wounds, and what was the results?

This product work great on a leather jacket I bought in 1997. Since 1997, I never used any sort of leather product on it. I used it once and it work perfect.

This stuff has worked wonders for both my pup and kitty! I have a question though, can this be used on a broken nail with the quick exposed?

I tried this method so much times and I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME. It doesn't work, no matter what horse I try. First of all, they don't even blink, although it is a place where I know for sure it's stiffe, second of all, the horse is wiggling around most of the time and when I finally get to touch them, they react like nothing happened or don't let me do such moves like there, even though they should feel relaxed

Wonderful to see how relaxed this beautiful horse becomes ! He 's trusting fully you, this is very important, she 's half asleep on your shoulder. He 's so adorable. Pity one can not see well what you are massaging behind her head. A place on the back of his jaw or the beginning of his neck. I think it must be that. I' ll try maybe with a not too tensed horse school who trusts me. She calls me knicking. Last time she asked me to snuggle her, on her neck at one moment . I did not understand why as we already have had a nice hug on her head - scratching her forehead crazy! - she was moving her head up and down on both sides of my own head. Til I embraced her ( it was instinctively, from all my old past years with horses) and started to massage her neck, scratching both sides of it. She was happy ! I at least guessed what she wanted me to do.😅 So I think I could try your great technic with her poll. As a Thoroughbred, she always keeps easily tensions in her body, and especially her neck and poll. Thank you very much Doctor ! 😊👌🏻🐎💖 I tried it meanwhile with my favorite thoroughbred. She got easily relaxed, weighing my shoulder, perhaps not enough. It was the very first time for we two. Lol . After I was grooming her and she didn't stop having her upper lip up with her head up and neck straight, then her head down, chewing, yawning... She was looking happy and me too. I never saw her so happy and relaxed. Thank you so so much !!! 🐴💕🇫🇷

what if the bittering agent doesn't actually stop the pet from licking off the ointment?
In some cases it does not. It's ok if they lick a little off in one day. Just avoid letting them lick it all off and re-applying it over and over in a day. You want to limit the total amount the animal might ingest so they do not get an upset stomach, same with any wound care treatment.
Will it help interdigital cysts?
We have not collected and data on interdigital cysts specifically. All Absorbine products are 100% satisfaction guaranteed, so might be worth a try.

Is it safe on humans, many of our family are runners and recommend it, especially for shin splints which my son is dealing with in high school football. The family members love the liquid but my son seems to like using the gel better, they feel the liquid is stronger and more effective, please advise and thank you.
Hello! Thanks for your question. Absorbine liniment ingredients are all clearly listed on our package. They are meant to be applied by hand and rubbed in. There is nothing dangerous in them for people to touch. However, these products are only registered as animal products and as such, we do not provide instructions for uses on people.

Will this stick to bedding? I'm using this on my dog who had abdominal surgery. His vet said it's OK to use, but just wondering how sticky it will be when he lies down on his bed.

What if they lick it off is that safe?
It is OK if they lick it off once in a while. You just do not want them to lick it off over and over again, especially if applied multiple times in one day.

I'll let you know, i'm about to order some for a hypergranulating wound the medical people have been treating for weeks. Had a second operation to debride the wound and it's still not healing properly.

LOL how can it protect the microbiome while killing 99.9% of bacteria. Colloidal silver doesn't protect microbiome, it kills all bacteria on contact. Microbiome IS bacteria.
