  • This video is detailing the difference between the sizes of the Sig P320 grip modules. I went from a Medium to a Large. Even though there isn't much difference measurably, the difference in my hand is substantial. I'd be interested to see what you've found if you've made the switch in the P320 grip module.

    Thanks a ton for this video! I have an SP2022 and plan to purchase a ca320 and didn’t know which grip module to get.
    The grip width on the SP is 1.25” with a depth of 2”. I’ll probably get the medium. The small is 1/2” smaller circumference than the medium.

    Thank you so much for posting! Very helpful and detailed, wish there were more videos like this. I have a 320 full-size barrel on a compact frame and want to switch to a FS frame. Personally, I'm on the fence between a small FS grip module and a medium FS grip module.

    Dude awesome this was perfect, we almost have the same exact hand size...I bought the x compact grip(because of the extended beaver-tail....and the tan looked awesome) but it was even skinner than the medium grip.
    So now I’ll be buying the large grip; I wish there was a sleeve to put on these to extend the grip

    Thank you for the video.. My hand from thumb tip to pinky is 9 5/16 and bottom to top of middle finger is 8 1/4 and im also a lefty.. I haven't really minded the medium but sounds like that large would fit better..

    On the LARGE,what is the circumference (1)in the indented/cutaway area of the grip between the inside of trigger guard and the slide?(2) the circumference around the grip just below the trigger guard? (3) the circumference of the grip at the largest part near the butt end? Thanks.

    Good vid with good physical comparisons and info. I know your pain, my paws are a tad over 10” for both measurements. Carried Glocks for over 20 years. Then started trying new guns out over the last couple of years. Walther PDP, best stock trigger, grip to small. FN 509, all around best optics ready pistol, grip small. Now I just recently got a P320 RXP full size, and was wondering about the worth of a new grip module.
    Can’t wait to try it. For me, the best fitting gun was the old Gen 3 Glock 21’s full size, or the Gen 4 21’s with the large backstrap. But with 9mm becoming the dominant caliber and being much cheaper I have been shooting 9mm only for a while now.

    Yeah, i can nearly wrap my hand the whold way around n its not a great grip n i do comp. Id like to try large in both original n Xseries. I believe i still shoot faster with the original frame. But id like to try both in large. N in super stoked to see what the Wilson combat p320 grip frames will be like. Maybe ill jusg try it instead..thx

    glad to see the P320 handle works for you! I also have huge hands (9.25" from middle finger tip to same spot on wrist) and the pictures make the full size P320 handle look reeeeeally small. How does the handle length feel for you though? I was almost thinking that the 21rd mags would be a must for me as they extend the length quite a bit.
    Just ordered my 9mm p320, but also went ahead and ordered the X5 grip module to try out as well as it's a lot longer.

      Isan Simpson so glad the video was helpful for you. The length is fine for me. Maybe it’s because I’m so used to having my hand hang over, but I really haven’t noticed it with this larger grip module. I do try to really grip up and seat the webbing between my thumb & forefinger. Good luck with the X5!

    I have the compact as well but, just bought the large grip. I don't have big hands but, hoping to get a better grip in general. My shots keep going low and to the left.

    Nice video. I also have large hands and I have a 320 45acp FS/Medium Grip. I am thinking of getting the Large grip. Is there anything else I have to buy? Do the guts lift right out of the Medium grip and into the large one?

    • @TXSuburbanHomestead
      @TXSuburbanHomestead  Před 5 lety

      Yeah, in theory that's it. Just pull the assembly out and insert it into the large frame. Mine wasn't without issues with the mag release, but that may just be an issue because I swapped it over for the lefty. It may also be a bit fudgy if it's really dirty.

    There is absolutely no way to know whether a gun will feel right in the hand without holding it.

      @TXSuburbanHomestead  Před 5 lety +1

      No doubt about it. Thank goodness that wasn't the point of this video. It was just intended for those thinking of going up to the larger grip module to share personal experience from someone with big hands who made the change and was satisfied with the time, effort, and money invested.
