Master portrait artist Kevin G Saunders creates Grand Scale Fine Art Portraits for a New Gilded Age. In this technical series he describes the foundation light for his black and white portrait studio, the Mole Richardson 2K Junior fresnel light. Kevin tells of the journey of researching black and white portraits, reverse engineering the lighting, finding used lights on eBay, and refurbishing them all the way to retrofitting them with LED bulbs that make them state of the art.
