Animal Cruelty Should Be Legalised - Spoiler Alert!!! It already is legal.
First day back at it after the snow and storms ; and what a way to start! This is probably one of best conversations ever and these people were great.

Ultimately I'm trying to make people stop for a moment and think - and to reconnect with the compassion for animals that already lies inside most of us.
If we take the time to inform people properly, together, one step at a time, one change at a time, - when it all adds up, it will be one enormous result for the animals.
Ethical veganism means making everyday choices driven by the desire to avoid causing cruelty and suffering to animals at all practical costs. It is a way of life that reaches far beyond a plant based diet.
Put simply - We oppose the exploitation and use of other animals.
There is no doubt that breeding, caging and use of animals for food, clothing, experimentation and entertainment causes an immense amount of suffering... all of it completely unnecessary.
Following a vegan lifestyle is easy and on this channel I will be navigating many of the challenges and socially ingrained ideas that animals are here for us to use.
I also hope to talk about 'activism'... and helping other vegans to communicate effectively and share the message of living without causing unnecessary harm to other beings.
I want to make change happen... for our health, for the planet and most importantly, for the animals.

Nice when you meet people who are willing to listen.
The brainwashing since childhood really does take root. We as humans treat animals appallingly. I love it when people are willing to listen. They may not go vegan overnight but this isn't a conversation they're likely to forget. It's thanks to activists like yourself that I went vegan overnight nearly 6 years ago. Keep up the good work, I know it's hard.
So true, I used to say "as long as its done humanely im ok with it" I knew absolutely nothing about how animals were treated.
And THOSE people are EXACTLY why street activism needs to exist. No defensiveness. No bullshit arguments or debating. Just willing to be educated and informed. Pretty sure one of them will end up vegan at least.

@@Simon-Smith. I've never taken a B12 supplement in my life and I've actually been dead.for 30 years. (half-true story.... I'm still alive & thriving after no meat, dairy, eggs or supplements for 3 decades)

I really like your outreach style. You do everything to not be intimidating and that opens people up to your information and thoughts. Excellent!
On a side note, though, I am not convinced of Gary Yourofski as an entry point to veganism, because some of the information he spreads is not correct (e.g. his bone calcium information). Could you maybe *also* or *instead* point to Earthling Ed, for example? He has several good speeches. A recent addition to "great speeches" would be Joey Carbstrong at the Oxford debate.
I know so many people who have changed overnight after listening to Gary’s speech and I believe it’s the best stand alone tool that we have in our armoury. 🌱

You might not think the information Gary presents is wholly accurate, but it is undoubtedly one of the most powerful animal rights speeches on the internet that everybody need to listen to.
