BMWs with iDrive 7.0 and surround view cameras may have the Drive Recorder app enabled, but if your G-Series car came without, we will offer a retrofit for you soon.

How long video you can record with BMW recorder? Interested how much memory for recording is available
Is it available for 630D Xdrive, December 2019, Idrive 7, parking assistant plus, 360 cameras, EU? I don't see it in the connected drives shop, I also don't see it if I put my VIN code on your page. I don't understand why when it seems to have all needed components.
Odd thing. Maybe contact your BMW dealership - they should give you the exact info

No, sorry. For now it's only available for 2019+ vehicles with iDrive 7.0 and surround view cameras.

can it be used to start recording if there is someone trying to break into the vehicle( breaking the glass of pulling the door handles)?
Unfortunately, this system activates automatically only in case of an accident or a dangerous situation while driving.
