I like how when K'mpec tells Picard he's been poisoned with his drink, he just keeps drinking it anyway. Waste not.

Should never have killed off K'Ehleyr. She was a great character and it really hurts future episodes.

While it worked for the episode, I was definitely disappointed that they killed her off. At this point, there aren’t many well-developed recurring side characters, and her connection with Worf made for a lot of potentially interesting ideas to be explored. -Robert

That's true, she was a great character. I like the actress's protrayal of Selar too but that doc wasn't even 1/4 as developed character-wise.

Finally, THE episode where we could've used Worf's action theme hallway music from "The outrageous Okana"! ...And the production team totally biffed it.
I always loved how Worf only got a reprimand for straight up Bat'lething Duras in the chest. But, it was ok because Duras was a punk haha. Gowron was incorrect, sadly, when he said "You will die. Slowly, Duraaaaaaas" *stares, motionless with bug eyes*. It was rather quick.

Worf Killed Duras on what was effectively sovereign Klingon soil in accordance with Klingon law. All Starfleet can really punish him for is leaving his post without permission.

Fun fact: young K'mpec appeared in the 2000s PC game Klingon Academy as one of the supporting characters, I just wanted to enrich your lives with this information. You are welcomed!

Terrific episode! I love the continuity of Worf's story and the Klingon empire saga. I was glad that Worf killed Duras too. I found myself wishing that the episode was longer which is a good sign.

The actress who plays K'Ehley, Suzie Plaxton is a total babe in real life, even under all that make-up you can tell she is a very beautiful woman.

When she plays the female Q in Voyager - hubba hubba! Also has an amusing conversation with half-Klingon B'ellana Torres.

He becomes a super mega important character in star trek and infact becomes the reason the dominion from deep space nine does not conquer the alpha quadrant.

A great Klingon episode, it's always good to see their development as a species, and that they're not just simply killers. Worf is a total bad ass. Whilst killing K'Ehleyr was necessary for the plot, it was a pity in many ways as she was a great character. Suzie Plakson is great, with just the right balance of Klingon and human. I would have loved for her to be a reoccurring character. But she was too strong for a woman, so in good Trek tradition, the writers had to kill her off. She and Worf had a great chemistry.
This marks the first episode of Gowron, who is my 3rd favourite Klingon, after Martok and Worf.

You guys are like the opposite of Red Letter Media when it comes to what you like about Star Trek. You like the Klingon episodes, while they seem to hate them. And a lot of their favorite episodes you've torn to shreds in your reviews. It's pretty funny actually.

Can you imagine the Klingon High Council finding out what happened to Duras? "We warned him that K'Ehleyr was snooping, so he just stabbed her to death on the Federation flagship? Then he got revenge-killed by Worf? We all knew Duras was a moron, but damn!" 🤣

I felt this was a bit of a weird episode. As Worf get's upset with K'Ehleyr for not telling him about Alexander. I'm thinking what the two of you were not living together nor were you married. She had every right to not tell you about the boy. Second Worf mentions not wanting the kid because of his family dishonor. Sometimes I wish Worf would make up his mind. I feel like being some sort of Klingon instructor at Starfleet Academy would have been a better job for him. I mean hey he loves shoving his culture in everyone's face. I'd give this episode a D. Sins of the Father was by far the strongest episode I feel.
