In this episode I visit Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, known for its beautiful landscapes of mountains and ocean. During my time in Rio de Janeiro I attempt to become a "carioca" as the residents of the city are called. I take part in many of the Cariocas favourite activities including spending all day at the iconic Ipanema beach, hiking the famous Dois Irmãos mountain, eat the classic weekend dish of feijoada, watch Rio's BIGGEST football team Flamengo play a derby match in the famous Maracanã stadium, party in several of the blocos street parties around the city for Carnival and of course watch the samba parade at the world famous Sambadrome!! By the end of my time in Rio de Janeiro, I feel like a true Carioca!!

Although I've been to Rio multiple times and I've seen everything you showed I couldn't stop watching, you are so positive, clearly have a way with words and you immerse yourself in such a wonderful way into the local culture, I couldn't stop smiling. Sweet video...Brazilians have always had a warm place in my heart. I have so many friends from Brazil and had quite a posse when I lived in NYC. Happy you got to enjoy all the warmth and beauty and was able to capture some of it here in a lovely way. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!. Its always the people first and then the place. And in the South Americas, the character feels like its at a whole new level.
Southern americas are bit of stretch for asians because of the exorbitantly pricy flight tickets. But this video, we swear, makes us want to save up and make that trip happen. So much soul, so much "freedomness" (if thats a word), so much character and so much beauty.
We will stop talking about how good of a job you guys are doing henceforth. Thats a given now 😀😀.

Don't think there's a better travel channel than this one out here which covers the actual authentic feel of the city rather than just roaming around the popular tourist spots and showing off expensive hotels.Very underrated channel and please post videos frequently.

I've done my own fair share of globetrotting but such splendid documentation is rare. I basically stumble upon this video, start watching it, hear her speak to the locals with English subtitles on screen and brace myself to read through the whole video in English subtitles. Then she casually switches to pure 'Queen's' English and totally blows me away....my eyes literally popped. 😮😮 Impressive multilingual skills girl! You rock! 👌🤛👍👏😁
