The delsol would be faster if the roof was manual.
The automatic ones its heavy af, mine was but I bought the manual trunk and roof and the car weight 80kg less. Sorry for my english, Im italian😅
Papa americano
That's 180lbs 🥲. Impresses the chicks though 😆. Just pop a B18 in there lol. These things getting so expensive I would take it either way.
Just love these retro race especially the Honda ones at VTec sounds awesome and just sitting here thinking I hope they warmed that up first🤣👍
Vtec won't kick in yo if it ain't warm enough unless ECU has been modified, any Honda enthusiast would know this.
@@HashDogg06 Really? I had no idea then again I just got my first honda ever just a few weeks ago and I never really drive my cars hard when cold.
Anyway thanks for the tip ill try to remember that!
@@theagemon5 I probably confused you by saying enthusiast when really i'm meaning those people who just love thrashing their Vtec's everywhere & thrash it cold to find no Vtec, i was one of those people many years ago.
@@HashDogg06 haha I see you mean the more traditional/stereotypical honda dude.
I searched it up for a bit of 'fact check' and there was a dude on a forum asking why vtec didn't work when his car was cold he got his answer, and I guess I found a more traditional honda owner.😅
I have a Del Sol with a B18 inside it. I've a 97 Civic hatch as well. Both are quirky and enjoyable.
Surprisingly not much of a difference considering the CR-X Del Sol is supposedly much heavier.
40 kilos
100ish lbs makes a big difference.
The Eg Del Sol and Eg Civic was actually closer that the Eg Del Sol vs Ef CRX.
A far cry from what was circulating for many years that the Ef CRX is faster than the Eg Civic and that the Eg Del Sol is very slow.
glad i found your channel. keep up the good work!
Привет! Круто с 1600кубов выжили 170 лошадок без турбо! 👍 Вот это технологии! 😉🤗
That hatchback 😍si civic
Sir dude, big difference...
@@Shane-zx4ps. It still part of Si variant of Civic
Goth dayum. That man was banging gears.
drag races cr-x vs civic sir
純粋に走りを求めれば、civicだけど、CR-Xには面白さがあるので、それはそれでいいんですよ😹
1:10 those rims
They'll be the same if the del sol was not a transtop
VTEC turbo so good
No too much money in fixing turbo issues
Del sol is obviously heavier but can anyone confirm the statement that
The 94-95 honda del sol vtec usdm b16a3 is considered a jdm b16 sirII (2)?????
Essentially Yes but to the afficionados it can be a No.
Yes, because the SiR in Japan means it has the B16 engine.
No, because the SiR in Japan had more power
You can say it essentially is or 95% equal to the B16 SiR II (2)
USDM is lower compression than JDM and 9bhp lower
@@seshelbow336 And what's the difference with the B16A2? Is it possible to regain that power? Thanks a lot
@@questaebenzinah2600 JDM has slightly higher compression ratio due to different pistons. Apart from that the ECU is different and has a slightly different map. ECU is a straight swap but unless you have 99 RON fuel probably not a good idea. Pistons can be swapped but a lot of work for not much gain. The 9bhp would be better chased through bolt ons and a good tune imo
@@seshelbow336 which mods would you do? I'm a newbie in tuning :) I didn't imagine it has different pistons, I thought it was only about ECU
As an American I feel cheated that Japan got the better technology for the del sol
