I bought a duralast optispark also. Been driving me crazy trying to figure out why when it warms up it starts running rough. It's 100% the optispark. These duralast optisparks are assembled poorly . They are not timed correctly . You honestly have to open up these aftermarket optisparks and check everything. There offset witch when the car warms up the timming advances and then the car runs like shit. Trust me. I promise you just build your own optispark and you'll be good. There's a few videos on CZcams if your interested. Duralast optispark will run your car but not correctly and not for long.

If you have a 1300 dollar scope to run diagnostics. Not very practical for the home-gamers.

Absolutely right, however you don't have to pick up their top of the line model to do the same thing. Check out czcams.com/video/L1jJpLzshP8/video.html where they use a 2204a and you can pick those up for a couple hundred bucks.
