I also have a 2021 Sportglide, I had some work done to it, S+S cam plate, oil pump, 55mm aluminum intake manifold, lifters, tappet cuffs, FM pushrods, Trask Checkm8 tranny cover and a Star Racing 30 / 30 cam, three things that I would highly recommend, be sure to install the S+S tappet cuffs, they are made out of billet aluminum and the OE are plastic, be sure to replace your intake manifold, as it too, is made out of plastic. I recommend venting your crank case in some way, I'm using the Trask top cover without using an additional breather kit, the M8 motors create a lot of crank case pressure and you have to relieve it some way, I too installed the 4" pullback risers and that was the best modification I made, it really makes a difference in your positioning, much more comfortable to ride, the S+S oil pump flows much better than the OE, but, you should be good with stock, ride safe!!
Low Rider is a beautiful bike! I was looking at those too. The sport glide won because at the time, the Low Rider didn't have bags and cruise control. I would love to get on one though to test it out!

I live in the UK, really crappy weather, I have just started the riding season. Like you, I have a gauntlet grey sport glide!! Great bike, I have a stage 1 with rinehart exhaust, not too loud. Instead of black, I have gone all chrome!! Willie g: pegs, brake and gear change, timing and derby covers, grips and fuel caps!! Also in chrome, I have: 4.5 risers, mirrors, console, "heads" covers, "battery" covers and sissy bar. I like chrome, but black is great too and possibly a bit easier to keep clean! Oh, I nearly forgot: I have mustand dagger touring seat.... I have spent a lot of money in extras, but that' how harleys are.
Well hello fellow Sport Glide rider! You definitely feel the bad weather pain then, hopefully you have a lot of great weather coming up to ride. I definitely want a new exhaust but have to be careful what I put on because NY has new exhaust laws which are ridiculous. Sounds like you have a lot if what I want to do to my bike done on yours. You caught my attention, info on my dream bike from the perspective of a shorter rider is just the content that sparks my interest. BBG, you're an inch shorter than me, so some b-roll with you in the reach seat (looks, function, etc.) would be nice. Also, did you enperience shoulder blade tensions on your nightster sportster? (depends on the handlebars fitted)
Thanks! I van certainly make another video like that. The sportster wasn’t too bad because the bars did come up almost like mini apes. The only time my shoulders would really bother me was when i had a backpack before i got my sissy bar. The sport glide was hurting my shoulders, but the risers really helped to put me in a much more comfortable riding position.
@@buffaloharleychick your sportster probably had Buckhorn bars. Riding with a backpack, one needs a proper motorcycle backpack which has a front chest buckle. All others will move around and cause fatigue and discomfort. While I got your attention, you might get some inspiration for your CZcams channel in my book "Time Out - a journey across America and a state of mind".
You should have went for the six inch pullback risers. I'm 5' 6'' and I find myself still wanting more height after installing the six inch pull back risers. The next modification to my bike will be 10 inch Kraus pull back risers.
That was my original plan, but i was thinking id likely have to change the cables which i wanted to wait on doing. If these don’t end up working how i wanted, then I’m just going to go straight for 10 inch bars which is what my goal is anyway. Just needed a quick cheap fix before Babes Ride Out. Let me know what you think about the 10 inch Kraus risers!
Hi i have a 2022 sport glide Australian model the 4 an a half inch pull back risers work really well very comfy ride now... also ive never seen the screw looking thing on the front of the seat is that a USA model thing or something to do with the reach seat option...
Awesome! Glad you're enjoying it and the pull backs have helped! I'm actually planning a really long road trip this year, so hopefully I'll be able to feel the difference even more with the risers. The screw on the front is different for sure, but i'm honestly not positive why it's there! lol
That’s very true! I don’t mind some, but prefer black because it’s easier to clean and has less glare. My center console actually blinds me when the sun is in the right position behind me, which isn’t great.

Chrome isn't for everyone, thankfully with Harley's they have something for almost everyone.
